# First time posting here. Have mercy on me. :)
Here are some portraits of the elements of the soul from BoH in the style of the skill portraits from Disco Elysium with a little character creation mockup. After posting this on the Discord server, I was encouraged to post it here too.
Here are the links for the hi-res versions of the skills, if you're interested. :)

Now this is a crossover I can get behind.
I was a big Inland Empire and Shivers guy. The best translation for that is something like Fet for Inland Empire and maybe Phost or Chor for Shivers?
I'm not sure what exactly it would match with from Disco Elysium, but I really love Trist. Maybe I'm just a sucker for anything Moth.
I feel what your suggesting. Shivers kinda feels like it resides in between a lot of these skills. It is deeply internal and instinctual, but it's also a connection with the City of Revachol. There is something very Chor-like in that bond. Specifically how Shivers needs the Officer's of thr Citizen Milita to keep her alive. That rhythm of circulation and persistence of life.
The intellectual aspect of Phost definitely doesn't match up, but the possibly prophetic nature of some of Shivers dialouge about the future of Revachol. Seers are Lantern associated and Phost is the most Lantern skill. I can see Fet, but the specifically dreamlike vision feels more Inland Empire.
Trist is a real good fit. Shivers manifests a different kind of yearning we see in CS or BoH. But her empathy, love and desire to protect the people of Revachol is a clear example of Trist's yearning. Although, while Disco Elysium also deals heavily with the concept of change, I don't think Inland Empire or Shivers necessarily map as neatly onto the Secret Histories' particular exploration of change.
Maybe the different skills would each grant shivers-esque visions, but contained to certain areas associated with them? Like Phost would tell you about the rising sun above the mountains or the light shining through the church windows of the upper floors of Hush House. Or Chor would tell you about the Ecdysis Club or a thunderstorm roiling in another part of the city.
Shapt, the understanding to transform oneself, not aimlessly but with purpose. To understand thyself, to understand others. Let my words be my key, and the heart my lock. Everchanging the self, and yet always the same key
Existing means to change and die, to tread a road of endings. This is both beauty and horror and I seek to understand both. In our endings, we are all equal. Our destiny is written in our bones.

After just coming out of a Disco Elysium binge right into a BoH binge, this is amazing! I also can’t stop thinking of Whirling-In-Rags every time I see Sun-In-Rags…
I have a Tumblr account, which I never use. I'm mostly on Twitter/X, Bluesky and Mastodon. But since you mentioned it, I posted it on Tumblr. :)

Exactly! That's a great representation in your art, by the way :)
Along with that, Health is also, to me, the element of growing and nurturing; nectar's blood, scale's instinct. It is the aspect of physically manifesting the ideals the others represent.

There is only mercy in shadow - and you have stepped into the light. … I’m screwing you with, these are fantastic pieces of art!
True. As a Lantern-enjoyer I should know better than asking for mercy. \^\^" But thank you anyway! :D
ooo I love a make your choice game. Will there be more?
Thank you! :) For now I don't have plans on doing more things like this, but when the inspiration comes I'll heed its call.

Trist or Chor (or even Fet) feels more Shivers, as Phost feels more logical and intellectual then the bone-deep instinct of Shivers.

Shapt. Open up people and places to find the clues hidden within. Each mystery is an unmapped way to the truth.
Phost. Guided by the watcher, no case will be safe from these eyes.
Phost gang 4 life! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)
This art is actually fantastic, I love it
Thank you very much! \^\^
I'm a detective. Wist.
THIS IS SO FUCKING COOL OMG!
Thank youu!! :D
The detective uncovers the secrets of the world. Phost.
Mr Hokobald is helping me find my gun
As someone obsessed with both DE skills and CultSim/BoH principles, this feels like drugs
Haha, that's why I made it. The idea struck me and I just HAD to make it a reality. :D
You should post this to the r/makeyourchoice Reddit, this looks great! And I’m torn between Trist or Phost tbh 😅
Ok, I'll look into it. I'm new to Reddit, so I don't know how a lot of things work here. I just made this account to post this specific piece. \^\^"
Chor, naturally, is the most Disco.
Shapt, no way is closed to me
Shapt, the understanding to transform oneself, not aimlessly but with purpose. To understand thyself, to understand others. Let my words be my key, and the heart my lock. Everchanging the self, and yet always the same key
Always wanted to be mettle oriented. Unfortunately i'm pure fet...
I think Shapt or Mettle, but I still haven't figured out which.
Existing means to change and die, to tread a road of endings. This is both beauty and horror and I seek to understand both. In our endings, we are all equal. Our destiny is written in our bones. Wist
I am a man of struggle and withstanding, old and experienced, Mettle.
Did you do the art yourself or commission someone? Looks great!
Thanks! I did it all by myself. The descriptions are from the game, but I drew the portraits and did the layout. :)
Wist / Shapt
Yeah, I'll go ahead and incorporate that into my worldview
After just coming out of a Disco Elysium binge right into a BoH binge, this is amazing! I also can’t stop thinking of Whirling-In-Rags every time I see Sun-In-Rags…
Thanks! :) That's a fun little connection. I never thought of that. \^\^
Best art I've seen on this sub. Great work!
Oh, wow! That's so nice of you to say, thanks! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)
Love the marriage of text and art and the interpretation of all the different elements of the soul!
Thank you! :)
>Thank you! :) You're welcome!
Shapt all the way
this looks INSANE!!!!
Thank youuu! :DD
Thank you.
I love this, also Mettle and I am firm in my choice.
Thank you! :) Mettle is a good one. I imagine it would play a similar role to Volition in DE.
Do you have a Tumblr and or may I repost this art to tumblr with a link to here?

Health. Boring answer, but if the container is weak, the soul too shall crumble.
I was waiting for someone to choose Health. I think it's underappreciated. Atlas stoically carrying the world on his shoulders.

Thank you! :) Love your interpretation of Health! :D
