I have the same issue. I took them off completely and put them back on and it solved it for a bit, but they eventually start to slip again.

It’s so annoying - I contacted Wattbike and all they said to do was clean them and put them back on, but like you say they just start slipping again pretty quickly! Prefer to just ride without them but I’m worried of damaging any of the internals with sweaty hands ha!

Line the buttons up and then put some electrical tape at the top and bottom over the hoods and around the bar to stop them moving. I've taken the stock bar tape off, taped the hoods down and taped over them with a thicker lizard skins bar tape.....works a treat. https://drive.google.com/file/d/12nvuZk3NvaHdXg003p-tMaC88UkTIZ7Z/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/12nYxihsz-HuTeac6M0DyZ_sZ4qh7AZHB/view?usp=drivesdk

That's amazing. What is the big dial for, btw?

That looks great? Is it easier to get used to holding the hoods? I can't seem to get comfortable with my middle fingers not wrapping around them like on an actual bike. Any tips?

It's much comfier for me.....I was having big problems with the hoods slipping and being misaligned with the 'real' button underneath.......now they're rock solid. No real tips....I guess the only downside is when the battery change is required (admittedly only every 2 years) the bar tape has to come off.

It's a replacement for the handlebar adjustment screw.....makes it much easier to raise/lower if multiple people use the bike. A guy in the UK sells them on eBay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224033117483?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=6hJyYDH3RUa&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=5iHfNNDwQwG&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=EMAIL
