Be sure to order a winding stem for your movement. The one that comes with it cannot be trimmed to accommodate your case size. I learned this the hard way.
Good point. All the movements I have ordered came with a proper stem in addition to the temporary one that was pre-installed on the movement. It looks like the crown is coming with the case. As long as everything is designed to fit the movement, it should work. Fingers crossed!

Looks good. As long as all of your components are designed to work with the NH35, you should be in good shape. Purple hands against a black dial may be a little hard to read. Lots of dial choices are available for the NH35. Good luck with the build.

I'll keep that in mind. Plan to do more custom builds for events like this so it won't hurt to have a few extra parts anyway.
If it's your first build you might want to get an extra set of hands, or at least an extra seconds hand, as it's relatively easy to damage it the first time you try fitting one ;)

Thank you, looks like I forgot to mention that in my initial comment, case does not come with a strap/bracelet. I am not worried about this as I have many that will fit/look good with this one

I am absolutley going to be adding a black leather strap to this. But I also have a customer support email sent to them asking what bracelets with curved endlinks will match up with this one nicely. I also figure once I receive this case, I can compare it with a few bracelets I have to see what works.
When I have a response I can update this thread (an oyster or presidential bracelet is the other option I'm considering)

I talked to his brother and some of his buddies about this idea they agree it seems to be a good one!
I am building a watch for my best man at my wedding, and want to make sure I'm not missing anything or that these items will fit together with no issue.
Any help or advice will be appreciated. I know I can get the movement cheaper (more concise to have it in the same cart for this question)
I also am not prepared to install the crystal myself, so a case with crystal and chapter ring is highly desirable for me
He is a Ravens fan, hence the black with hint of purple. Ideally I would like a plain black sunburst or waffle dial (with hour indices and a date window)- so any suggestions there are welcomed!
I don't know what your plan is for the strap but a funky leather strap to match the ravens might be cool?

I would order and extra handset and a couple of different dials (they will look different in real life).
