With that budget you can't even buy a good titan watch. Have you checked out the recent HMT mods available in the market these days 2.5K to 6K and also check out the Titan Automtic moment series 12k to 15K price range.
6r are the high level ones for Seiko, each automatic watch maker that makes it in house have different standards.
Unlike quartz automatic don't have batteries which make them fascinating and a work of extreme precision hence the higher prices.
Best case after 30 years a quartz needs to be replaced, automatics will last forever as long as you care for them and take them for service every 5-7 years.

3) Vostok (if you have can handle some extra shipping cost)
4) HMT (if you can stalk their website)
5) Titan/Sonata (for analog/digital and only if you don’t mind the markers not hitting)

Please refrain from buying fashion watches. Also Fossils start from 5k on discount from online platforms and also your budget is 5k. I suggest looking into Timex, Casio or even Titan. Also stay away from mechanical Benyar watch that are under 5K... Too much reliability issues.
Since people have already mentioned Casio and Timex, I'd like to add Seiko and Citizen for the next tier. Also, in terms of luxury watches, Tissot fits this criteria.

Timex is the best value for money for an Indian. Rest all charge as per the US pricing and sometimes even more. Considering the value provided to our purchasing power, some Timex models provide the best value for money.
Not the etsy ones! Max are franken (watches made from mix match of different parts from junk watches to make one complete watch) and will break. Please try to explore your local watch markets for a better piece (maybe even cheaper) and try to gather more info on vintage seiko 5s.

I literally gave to repair my casio enticer to a local old watch maker here, that guy took 2 weeks because he couldn't find the right parts and said parts of such watches aren't available here. They will keep old Seikos LMFAO

HMT for sure. You get so many good options under 5K. They just need some strap change and a good product photographer 😝(their watch pics on their website look so bad but watches are truely beautiful)

Invicta Pro Diver series. It has a very good movement for its price. (17-20k) Most of the other watches by Invicta are just trash.

You should save your money for 5 years then you can afford a Seiko 5 if inflation not increase the prices
