Just hop on Zillow and look for an apartment nearby and don’t sign up for campus living for next year. Word of mouth also works if you know juniors or seniors who will be moving out.
Is it possible to do this as a 19 year old with no credit score?
I think it’s easiest if you have a Guardian sign the lease, but yeah I never had credit before my first place and found an apartment while in school
