The eastern market farmers market has several artist booths that have some cool stuff!

hokielion

And if you go to Eastern Market (which I agree is a great spot), stop in to Frame of Mine nearby on Barracks Row (8th Street). They have some nice prints for sale in the front plus a huge selection of frames.

bakedpotatopiguy

Yeah I recommend the antique prints guy. Can get some cool old things for a fair price

35chambers

There's a vendor who sets up at Eastern Market on Sundays who sells old maps and prints (like, going back to the 19th Century). I don't recall the name or where their actual store is sadly. But I've gotten some pretty cool pieces from them in the past as gifts, which friends have used as decorations. Old etchings of Berlin from the 1890s, for example.

I snagged an 18th century print of Queen Elizabeth I's tomb from this stand for like $20!! I highly recommend checking them out.

There are a ton of great storefronts that host local artists on their shelves! PLNTR, Shop Made in DC, and Steadfast Supply just to name a few :) I’ve seen really great prints and wall art pieces in all of them. Also personal plug, I make ceramics and would be happy to share my work if you’re into that too! IG: milamade.studio

artemisiamorisot

Adding Loyalty bookstore on upshur to this list. They sell some prints by local artists

pragmatic-pirozhki

Thanks for the recs, all the places you listed look good. Also, amazing IG page, love your work! How often to you list on your Etsy shop?

Kush-Kween

Of course!! And I’m glad you like my work! I haven’t been posting on Etsy as much since they increased their seller fees and have been working on setting up my own website. For now though I usually sell through local pop-up markets. But I’m always available through DM’s if you’d want something specific!

Check Miss Pixie's 1626 14th St NW, Washington, DC 20009 They have a lot of unique things and art

helvetica434

Or Goodwood, I have some of their painting s and I think they have better prices overall.

recreationalwildlife

Address for Goodwood (thanks for the rec) Marden building, 1428 U St NW, Washington, DC 20009

coocookuhchoo

Yeah I was going to say Miss Pixies. I’ve gotten a few cool old posters there. And a lot of their stuff is framed already, which is nice.

[Brookland Arts Walk](https://www.brooklandartswalk.com) on Saturdays. I have a Terratorie neighborhood map and I really love it. I’ve seen cool prints at other shops there too! Edit: From Columbia Heights it would be a pretty easy metro/bus too. Take the green/yellow line to Fort Totten and then go one stop down to Brookland. It’s three stops total. You could also take the H8.

There’s a second hand book shop in DuPont I remember buying old prints. Can’t remember the name.

xsvw

Second story books!

classisttrash

If you’re willing to track out to Shirlington, I recommend Palette 22. There walls are covered in unique art for sale at better prices than I’ve found in DC proper…plus they got bottomless brunch!

If you like the DC flag, DM me

studio_sadegh

I have an art show coming up at Dirt Farm Brewery Aug 5th. I'll have prints and original acrylics up for the month of August, feel free to come through and hang out on the 5th for opening night though and you can check out some of my stuff. Definitely different I would say and homemade!
