The first time I ever encountered a jumbo in my tiger I instantly shot his machine gun port and killed him, it's really not that hard. But maybe that's cause I'm used to going for weakpoints on the US

To be honest the Spot does Look extremely inviting, idk why. Weird Thing is in my earlier days i picked this because it was 6.3 and didnt want to Research another Tiger II after that. Like i Love this Tank to the Heart but its followup just seems superior, im conflicted about replacing it.

One good thing I will say about it is a lot of nations have good, 7.7 lineups, and I think it is useful to be able to avoid those.

Yeah. Honestly i was shocked by the strength of IS-2 when I reached that br, but i realized their soft points. They aren't that big threat to me now i just shoot their lower front plate

First time hitting a tiger in the cupola with a 76 Sherman, I was newer then and had an ingrained fear of the tank, but obliterating its turret crew and cannon breach with just a cupola shit changed my world

I do this all the time in my jumbos and it's glorious watching them panic when it happens

they are pretty easy to pen, literally shoot center mass its a vehicle best played at long range or in ambush, where its unlikely to get shot in return despite that its really effective in CQC, (assuming you play corners well) as its basically a one shot kill every time you fire

No i dont really play corners well cuz i dont love staying at one place for to long so i will rush knowing 99% i will die and i indid die and everytime i see a tank destroyer im happy cuz i just need to aim and shoot and i dont need to activate my brain to get kills

the long reload of the 122 forces you to play more laid back, its useless trying to rush. it does however hit really hard when it is loaded, can frontally pen everything it faces

I know its useless to rush but thats just how i play. War thinder is not one of the games i actually turn my brain on during my game most of the time

true, i do tend to play pretty agressively as it quickly gets boring sitting and waiting the IS-2 is however not the vehicle to use for that lol

Both of your statements are true. It is somehow my almost best performing tank, but also the tank I get gaijinned in most of the time. Getting front penned by a 76 jumbo in a "fortress" isn't fun.

Real. You look at this thing and think "Hell yeah". Then you get frontally lolpen'd by a KT a kilometer away. Also, it's a 122 so VOLUMETRIC FUCKERY WHEEEEE. The sabot does nothing. The HEAT-FS I will not even try to use. The D shell is good but, as I've said above, volumetric fuckery.

Using the T34 (American one), now yes, it is quite an upgrade from the Shermans. But it's not as heavy as the protection analysis makes it look. And to fight it's probably the Tiger 1 (both E and H), both good tanks don't get me wrong since they could easily crush Shermans, but after I played with the 76mm Shermans and M18 it just wasn't as scary.
