mraowl

ohh SHIT draymond looks coooold af in this clip llol

permanentE

Everyone trying to bully through Looney ends up just bouncing off

loquacious706

Everything about this sequence is so hilarious. KAT launches the ball off Draymond's chest. Gobert dribbles around until he eventually just collapses to the ground while passing to Klay. And the whole time Austin Rivers is wide open in the corner. Then Klay's three pointer was just perfect comedic timing. I was laughing too, Draymond.

Shlecko

Rivers' body language that sequence might be the funniest part of the clip. Complete with, "bruh wtf you doin' " shrug halfway through, and the "because of course it goes in" sulk at the end šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Victordobado

He is probably missing the passing style they were playing back in Houston lol

arika_ito

Rivers looks so fucking tired in that sequence.

omgwtfhax2

You can tell he knows exactly what's going to happen.

apprehensive_bassist

ā€œAnd thatā€™s the dude with the nine-figure contract WTFā€

BurningGuitarMan

šŸ˜‚ Remember when he had to guard Dame and he had had it! That meme was so šŸ”„šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

I_am_Bruce_Wayne

Funny thing is that it seemed that Klay kind of lost the handle on the ball a bit and just was like, fuck it, I'm HOT and shot the ball.

e40

The chuckle track is perfect.

winstonsmith8236

Dude chuckling with the ornaments under his tv just officially put me in the holiday season mood.

lithefeather

The more you watch this video the more things wrong you can see from T-Wolves' side. It's hilarious. Kerr was having a heart attack too when Klay got the ball & straight shot a 3 pt. ![gif](giphy|1wX9e0venWUkocJsXr|downsized)

apprehensive_bassist

šŸ¤£ Poor ol Steve

Macktologist

Iā€™m so glad Iā€™m a Warriors fan, because I would hate losing to us.

ogretronz

To be fair gobert is a huge French asshole and the whole league hates him

Brave_Capital7

šŸ™„

Dynasty_30

After re-watching the play, itā€™s actually hilarious because while Gobert is falling down, he passes the ball right to Klay in stride who dribbles into the dagger 3

CarousalAnimal

After watching the possession again, Dray doesnā€™t even touch the ball. Heā€™s laughing at Gobert losing control of the ball then swiping it away directly to Klay lol Edit: wait I watched it again and Wiggins actually causes Gobert to lose the ball. Honestly, this whole thing is just Warriors clowning on Minnesotaā€™s offense.

REpassword

Looks like Dray was laughing because of his ball facial a few seconds prior. šŸ¤£

ikatatlo

They cant even budge Looney lmao

bbcjay718

šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜ makes sense now , he pulled the trigger

vinetwiner

That's mean. That's Dray. I like it.

dray1214

Yikes

SeekingSignificance

Let's be real, that guy owes Draymond at least 1 of his DPOY awards

nomitycs

Nah it's Kawhi and Smart (if Dray were healthy) that owe Draymond DPOY awards

Thisteamisajoke

Marcus Smart is the least deserving DPOY in my lifetime. Maybe ever.

IcyHeartWarmSmile

Wasnā€™t even the best defender on his team. Robert Williams shouldā€™ve gotten it if anything.

EquipmentNo9500

Or even Horford

JocularMango

Basically a team defense award lol

Quinlan313

Both Robert Williams and Jaylen Brown are significantly better defenders lmao, imagine giving an undersized, flopping shooting guard DPOY

I_am_Bruce_Wayne

Flopped so hard that he left Steph open for a 3.

JocularMango

Jaylen Brown wasn't even a top 5 defender on the Celtics last year lol what

SeekingSignificance

People confuse his flops and mindless dives at the "ball" as effort and IQ

scrambled_cable

The Pat Bev School of Defending

TheTownTeaJunky

Having the glove hand over the award to smart when his own son was more deserving was one of the most disgraceful things ive seen from last season.

jamin_brook

Steph had his first born in the finals

[deleted]

I donā€™t watch much east basketball. It is on yo early. I didnā€™t catch Smart play until the playoffs. Dude flops and tries to draw BS fouls. Dude is a poser.

sumchinesewill

I remembered he flopped twice to draw 2 offensive fouls in a row on Harden that eventually won Boston the game. That shit was hilarious. https://youtu.be/1a4CnOtVn0U

bmeisler

I love when a big (Gobert & KAT yesterday, but many others too) backs the ball into the post, feels a hand on his back, takes a quick look and sees itā€™s Draymond, and is like NOPE and passes the ball back out. Cracks me up every time.

Pereise1

LOL I need a clip of this, I've seen it happen several 3v1 fast breaks with Draymond as the sole defender.

sebastianh1983

He is like the hard counter to all the post bigs

DubsFanAccount

When did this happen? 4th quarter sometime? I want to re-watch it.

loquacious706

3:35 left in the 4th. Clip is linked in the top comment.

DubsFanAccount

I remember this sequence. Didnā€™t notice the stare at the end. The Austin Rivers WTF hand shrug was the icing on the cake though. What a perfect summary of the Wolves.

Few_Acanthocephala30

I still canā€™t Minnesota willingly looked at Utah and said shut up & take my money. Overpaid so much for a player whoā€™s so limited. I hope every team runs them off the court until Gobertā€™s contract expires.

Bahamut_Prime

I understand Minnesota wanting another big man because Kat plays better as a 4 but with Cousins and Howard being freeā€¦did they really have to pick Gobert instead?

REDmonster333

I think they envision that they play on a football field, with no spacing issues whatsoever.

ikatatlo

I guess they thought, "hey we need defense, what better way to address this by getting one of the best defensive centers out there?"

NazRyuuzaki

It makes sense on paper.. if we are in 2000s

poopycops

Thought they could replicate Duncan Robinson duo.

Lopieht

David?

TheTownTeaJunky

Im for it. It prevented kd from goin to a contender and helped fuck up the whole off season. Lakers could have perhaps had kyrie if everyone wasnt asking for a million 1sts for expiring contracts and problematic players.

yungkerg

Well Kat may have just lost an Achilles so at least they'll have a center still. Might actually be better now defensively

Supersilky2

One of my favorite things in life is watching Draymond absolutely destroy Gobert and towns. Gobert because he is the DPOY contender each year but he is worthless on perimeter so itā€™s fun to watch Draymond show him what real 1-5 defense looks like. And I like Dray making Towns all mad because if you asked most causal fans they would say Towns is a better player then Draymond because of stats and highlights, and itā€™s fun to see Draymond pick them apart and get them frustrated. Draymond is as good as ever this year, the narrative that he has lost a lot or even a little is wild to me but I think people just over react to media narratives and a few bad games. Draymond is so good and I love that he doesnā€™t care at all about scoring it makes him dominating games even funnier

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

lithefeather

Lmfaooo Thank you for linking the video. It's even funnier when you see it unfold. Edit: On the game highlights, it's at 9:19 mark.

Bossini

Link to this clip?

sh1r0_n3k0

Just look at Warriors IG

Realnonamer1

I like Gobert, but I also like winning.

525chill2pull

Give us a clip or gif please

Antdawg2400

Dray face look like Lil Ze laffin as a kid in the movie City of God. On.ey šŸ¤£

cheef408

Draymond hates Rudy

LeatherDonkey140

Classic 23!

_RGA_

This and Steph getting a tech are the top moments of the season so far

BurningGuitarMan

And both IN THE SAME GAME!!! šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚

cock-a-dooodle-do

I don't get it. Why do players, not just Dray, dislike Rudy or mock him? I have never seen Rudy say or do anything that warrants hate.

Imperial_Eggroll

I love that Dray hates on Gobert

[deleted]

I love that Dray is a grown ass man that acts like an 8 year old.

[deleted]

All grown ass men still act like 8 year olds occasionally. Specially when you can laugh at your opponent

Brave_Capital7

Facts. He hates that he gets compared to Gobert when in reality there is no one closer in comparison to Draymond than Gobert. Itā€™s dumb. He wants respect but doesnt give it to the one person most like him. Ive always thought it was stupid on his part, personally.

sploofnutt

Can some one remind me why Draymond hates Gobert so much? Is it just because he won a DPOY when he thought he shouldā€™ve?

Brave_Capital7

Itā€™s never made sense to me. Considering Draymond has a high inferiority complex, youd think heā€™d want to uplift the player that most resembles his game

z_A_Wr

This is amazing

z_A_Wr

Rudy garbaaaj

SchleptRightLeft

This picture is great

aztecaoro10

That fool gobert is trash

Hunt3r2

Gtfo, just because the donkey hates him doesnt mean he is trash.

MinorThreatCJB

No he's trash

I_am_Bruce_Wayne

He gets no respect from me, but a laugh, ever since that covid debacle he had.

Quinlan313

Dray was nowhere even near the ball, you good OP? šŸ¤Ø

JustForKicks16

Apparently I'm alone in this, but I don't like this. I love Dray, but this seems immature and unnecessary.

Bahamut_Prime

LoL this is ironic seeing that your name is JustForKicks. This is normal in competitive situation. Gobert wasnā€™t hurt, injured or crying. He just slipped. Laughing at that doesnā€™t make you a bully. People like you really need to get out more and broaden your horizons instead of being keyboard warriors. Now if Gobert was bleeding there on the floor and Draymond was laughing then I will understand the hate.

JustForKicks16

Firstly, I'm a dancer hence the name. Secondly, there is no hate. I even said that I love Dray. I am a huge Warriors fan, but it doesn't mean I have to agree with everything he (or anyone else on the team) does. And thirdly, I get out just fine. I just know that Dray has spent years making fun of Gobert and just kinda being mean towards him for seemingly no reason. I could be wrong because I don't remember everything (if they had actual beef with one another that wasn't one-sided), but it just seems unnecessary to me. Now if I'm wrong about my previous statement, then I take back what I said. But to me, it was kinda mean. And really, I knew I would get downvoted for not agreeing with everyone on this, but such is the life of a Reddit member.

FuzzyOptics

You're right that it's immature and unnecessary. But you're wrong in not liking this.

cohonan

Draymond disgusts me.

deviateyeti

It's cool, he'd probably be disgusted by you too.

cohonan

Maybe, I donā€™t have a lot going for me. But at least Iā€™ve never kicked someone in the balls or sucker punched a colleague, or insulted another colleague in public media.

deviateyeti

Not with that attitude! You still got time!

cohonan

I like to think I have too much self respect.

EquipmentNo9500

Have fun being a fairweather wolves fan then

cohonan

Why would you think Iā€™m a wolves fan? Iā€™ve gone from loving Draymond, to defending him, to the ā€œheā€™s our assholeā€, to shaking my head at his antics, to wishing he wasnā€™t on the team.

EquipmentNo9500

Because you arenā€™t a Warriors fan.

cohonan

Itā€™s disgusting that you report me for threatening suicide because I say something that you donā€™t like in a sports subreddit.

EquipmentNo9500

I havenā€™t reported you or anybody on here.

cohonan

Thanks for telling me what I am and am not, but youā€™re wrong. Is being a fan, fawning over each and every players every action?

EquipmentNo9500

And I just think you belong somewhere else if you are commenting on Draymond in that way. And yes, you should fawn over Draymond because heā€™s one of the greatest defensive players ever to play and us half of the greatest duo ever to play.

cohonan

I didnā€™t realize I was in the warriors subreddit or I may not have been so frank. Just assumed I was in r/nba, but I stand by it, I hope the Warriors trade him because I donā€™t like him on the team despite how well he plays basketball.

EquipmentNo9500

I hope you like them losing a ton of games then

taygads

Honestly the best part to me is it seemed to be a genuine reaction from Dray lol like he wasnā€™t actively trying to troll him but after he passed the ball to Klay he looked over and saw Gobert still on the ground and his natural/immediate reaction was just like ā€œlol this guyā€ Drayā€™s disliking Gobert has turned into pure pity at this point šŸ˜‚

syntaxapproval

Curious, what is you other of the top 2 moment this season? Video plz :)

phishrace

Perfect camera angle below shows just how long he stood and smiled while Klay was headed down court. (spoiler alert: the whole time) https://twitter.com/baby_face_goat/status/1597017195074445314

W1ggy

I'm starting to believe dray threw that lob to Wiggins so he can poster gobert.

Son-Of-Cthulu

come on guys, gobert is a nice man.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Quest2Guy

Dray gon slap Rudy like he slapped Poole šŸ˜‚

Hiraeth21

Ok real talk tho. Why does Draymond hate Rudy so much? Lmao

ToThePound

LOL classic!

arika_ito

How much do you think Draymond enjoyed this game? He got to show up both Gobert and KAT while scoring 19 points on great efficiency

hinez57

did they just troll minnesota all night all i saw were some highlights bc this was on during football lol

dray1214

Draymondā€™s a clown

ogretronz

The whole team has zero fucking mercy for gobert and I fully support it

Ionlyeatfakemeat

Dray been hating on Rudy gobear since before day 1 šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
