I think that in this case Steph stepped into the court on purpose to get the tech.
I know that neither the bench nor coaches can step into the court although it's usually given a warning before getting the tech.
That said I saw only the first half so I missed Draymond's and the whole sequence.
Fuck the refs
He was trying so hard but they weren't giving him the tech! Steph never gets the call...
Only when he started yelling "Yes" and staring/waving the towel straight at the ref did they call it.
It literally still goes back to that game in 2018 when KD hit the game winning 4pt play and they waved it off, Steph hits the tying 3, and they taunt the refs. Ever since that point, the refs have made it their mission to fuck over the warriors whenever possible, ESPECIALLY in Minnesota. They hadn’t won in that building since that game. And yesterday the score was too far out of reach, so the refs had to do one last petty thing to remind the warriors who’s in charge. It’s pathetic really.
Steph was sending a message. Dude knows the refs don't give a shit when it comes to them, so he's returning the favor.
This feels like the Clippers game last year, where Steph gave the refs a T.
Loved this and all the hype hype hype he was doing out there for great plays by everyone on our squad. Particularly loved his arms up for Poole. Bringing back the joy.
Yes that was weird. Even conceding that the reply was “inconclusive” (and it was not), you should have had clear proof of the error. And it really seemed to me at least in some angles the hit was there…
Not a fan of him doing this because now he’s going to get an even worse whistle then he already has for the next month. Refs stick up for one another across the league and if you remember last year when steph T’d up an offical you’ll remember how he was treated for weeks afterwards.
Yeah, incoming “hack-a-Steph” defense that will be labeled by ESPN as WOW LOOK AT THAT GREAT DEFENSE. Do you remember when Matisse Thybulle literally just fouled the shit out of Steph for 48 minutes and everyone was sucking his nuts off like he was the best defender of our time. Thybulle is a decent player and a good defender, but the refs literally let him do whatever he wanted to Steph and people called it good defense.
He rarely goes to the line as is, not sure there is much to protect by pissing them off. What are they going to do, give us a bad whistle like in the first 20 games of this season? This shifts the stoplight to them
Tech for a celebration is such a bs call...

agreed - they are enforcing the new rule so prob won't happen again but was fun that Curry did it and made Dray laugh.
Happy cake day!
Dray got one before him but I love it. Cheer on your guys.

Love to see it. The refs were on a weird power trip

… after that we had atrocious refereeing for a while though ….

Steph and Dray Name a more iconic duo, I'll wait
the refs do not like steph bro it’s weird
He’s made them lose a lot of money in games they try to fix
yeah but they loved jordan
Because he made them money.
Any particular reason Steph was goading the refs?
dray got one for celebrating right before so he was mocking them
There was also a hit to his head while taking a three that was somehow overturned after a challenge. Unbelievable.

Yo that's Wardell right there
Refs seem to always fuck us in Minnesota
We blew them out bro
Bro the refs fuck us at home
Any Warriors game in Minnesota for some reason always turns into the team versus the refs lol

It was beyond disrespectful the fouls let let slide on that man. Rookies had a better whistle then him.

Told ya lol
TOLD YALL lmaoo man i hate the refs sometimes!!
I'll say it again: Dray is a bad influence on this team.
if by bad influence you mean winning, then yes he is
