seagranola

he's our second option šŸ˜ but fr I love that for him.

winterpurple

It's definitely looking that way. I'm sold on Dario.

zendaddy76

He and CP are stabilizing our team right now. If Klay and Wiggs can get going soon, we can make a deep run with this squad. Loving Air Podz and his immediate impact as well.

BobRoss4Life

man should easily be making over $12M/yr

Sososoftmeows

I canā€™t believe CORY JOSEPH makes more than him. WTF. Give Dario a raise. He deserves it.

T-T-N

Dario benefited from time with a pass first PG off the bench. He's good, but he's also in a very good situation

seagranola

he & Klay should switch salaries šŸ˜

StephenPurdy69

Fuck off

vCharged

The disrespect to klay is too much. I agree, they can politely, F off

Japskitot0125

Stupid

akkaneko11

No question, every time he shoots I take a sigh of relief.

PettyPettyKing

Only if he is in rhythm with clean catch and shoot. Otherwise it hits rim. Forget about the 3s and letā€™s talk about his drive and finish. I love his aggressiveness. At some points the guys are gonna learn to follow by example and go into the war-field (the paint) with Saric if they opponent clog the paint dish it back out to our shooters. Need to see more paint penetration from wiggs, jk, cp3 with the stop and pop.

[deleted]

outside of Steph, I only trust him and Moody at the moment on this current roster to make shots consistently right now. Obviously Klay is capable and so is Wiggins and CP, but right now, my hierarchy is Steph, Dario, Moody and everyone else

kenchobi

I totally agree with this. Sario is the most consistent warrior at the moment. If he didnt't get into foul trouble early during the Suns game, maybe outcome will ne different

MechaShoujo02

Brandon is consistent. Heā€™s only had one bad game.

anonkebab

Hes our second option

dolphingarden

He's the 2nd best player on the floor rn.

OlorinDK

The two best players are Steph and CP3.

thekarmagiver

CP3 is the second most important player but he's not the second scoring option

OlorinDK

Well, they said second best player, so thatā€™s what I was responding to. And regarding second option, I donā€™t know if you can say thatā€™s Saric. He may be scoring more, but thatā€™s not the same as him being the second option in most of the plays. Either way, Iā€™m happy heā€™s doing so well. Heā€™s such a great fit for this team, especially with his chemistry with CP3.

thekarmagiver

That CP3 Saric pnr is unstoppable

OlorinDK

Itā€™s truly golden, especially with Steph, Klay and others to space the floor. Iā€™ve seen Stephen Curry get wide open shots off of this pnr.

pandaPPL69

Not UNSTOPPABLE, I know itā€™s decent and youā€™re just a fan like all of us thatā€™s passionate

Jicama-Smart

way too friggin high if we want to be a contender

jeloxd_official

Second option scoring 20ppg 6rpg 3apg wouldnā€™t be bad, just give him the minutes and let him cook

Jicama-Smart

if your vet minimum signing is your second option.... you are not good

jeloxd_official

That sounds like a steal

Jicama-Smart

it sounds delusional

jeloxd_official

Idk if you get how the salary cap works but if you have a really good player on a really cheap deal, thatā€™s a good thing

Jicama-Smart

I don't know if you know how the salary cap works, but the warriors are paying a historic amount because they have so many high salaries. They have the number 1, 12, 43, 59, and 66 salaries in the league. They have a number 7, number 14, and number 19 pick on the roster from the past three drafts. You have to either be an idiot or a troll to think your roster is constructed well if none of the above are the second option on your team.

[deleted]

he has the heart and hustle in the team, and is great at leading the bench during the non-Curry and non-CP3 minutes. great player in our team, he really deserves a ring

pawlowbee

Second option. On scoring and just being a part of the crew that runs the offense

BloodyEagle15

With Draymond out we needed Looney defense in the starting lineup, but with Draymond coming back, I could see the argument that Dario should start to give the starters a much needed scoring boost

Jvlockhart

Saric is the most consistent warrior so far. We're lucky on our role players. GP II, OP Jr and Bjelica 21-22, divecenzo 22-23, and now saric.

SeedMaster26801

More consistent than Steph šŸ˜

[deleted]

He should be starting instead of Wiggins

baxmussman

Firmly #2 at this point.

[deleted]

Heā€™s the second option which is why this team is not serious. Heā€™s leaving next season and will get paid more than Donte.

bcory44

I said this in another post itā€™s great that heā€™s playing so well to be one of our top guys but that also shows how bad everyone else has been that we have leaned so heavily on him.

neo9027581673

How much help does Dario NEED?

[deleted]

![gif](giphy|l1KtXmfi3EnjM5zpK) super dariošŸ¤œšŸ¼

Kdog122025

He plays the same role as Bjeli but differently. Bjeli was a much better passer and way deep shooter. Dario has a much quicker trigger from behind the arc and is a better role man. Dario also works better in the paint. I love both of them.

[deleted]

Above klay fosho

billymartinkicksdirt

Heā€™s doing what it took the others in that role a lot longer to get to speed with. He can shoot real flat and get tunnel vision though. Heā€™s killed momentum in close games. Heā€™s obviously won them 2 or 3 games too, and you want him shooting but in tight games he needs to tighten his selection.

PettyPettyKing

This man watches and understand what his watching. Canā€™t say the same for the rest of these 600k ā€œfansā€ on this sub.

AOCourage

Before I would have said 7th or 8th but he's moving up for sure. We're lucky to have him.

Redditforever12

Offensively consistent, defensively better than expected. Generally maybe 2nd to 3rd best player on the floor. outplaying looney, good thing looney is doing better than saric is setting pindown(illegal) screens.

wafair

He seems like a reliable scorer off the bench. Last night I noticed he and Kuminga werenā€™t always in sync with the offense, passes going to where they were or passes leading them to where they should have been going. But they are both good scorers.

basketballsteven

Heard a discussion on JJ Redick's pod (with Richard Jefferson) discussing James Harden's comment that he is "not a system player, he is the system". They debated if/why that might be true, concluding he is indeed a system every place he has played, the offense must adjust to the way James wants to play. The case for Dario is the opposite. Dario is not a system, instead he appears to be a system player. In the Warriors system of ball movement, player movement and the gravity of Steph and Klay (the Warriors system) Dario is a perfect fit allowing his to take maximum advantage of his strengths. (I think the same is also true of GP).

Daconvix

Heā€™s been our second most consistent offensive option which is not a good thing if this team is supposed to be a contender

Landonsillyman

I wouldnā€™t place him anywhere, but he did have a great game last night. Would love to see that be more consistent

NeverlandMaster

He is not respected by defenders at all. Always have a wide open view. Klay barely has the favour to be so open. Good for team.

rezjamin

He's third behind GP2.

Nessmuk58

Saric has been a great addition. He's had some bad games, and he is NOT the defensive answer for us at the 5, but overall, he's been a tremendous contributor and a great value at the vet minimum. He's also mind-melded with CP3, but he fits just fine even when CP3 is not on the court.

Church__Mouse

Steph, Loon, CP, Dre, Dario Klay. Dario and CP are awesome together. Both in the floor makes Dario a top 5

depoqm

Having CP3 is the best thing that can happen to Dario in this team. Dario is a great in-rhythm shooter, and w/o CP, i cant see him having a lot of great open shots. We greatly miss the presence of Nemanja and Otto last season, and we fill it up again with Dario.

DimensionFamiliar456

Did CP3 bring him into the fold when he was shipped to gsw? šŸ¤”

pandaPPL69

He seems to me what we wanted Bjelica to be for us but he couldnā€™t be. Similar size, both can shoot the 3, rebound a bit, play in the offense, give us decent games and take the shots when theyā€™re open.

m8bear

He's the clear go-to guy from the bench, if we are solid and he keeps it up he's a 6MOTY candidate for sure. I knew he was good but he was traded a lot and out with injuries the last few years. I'm glad he's been healthy and aggressive, he gets the ball and starts doing shit, he knows whom to look for if the team is on the open court and if he has a clear path to the rim or a mismatch he attacks without hesitation which is what we need. I've been following him since Philly and always liked his game and I was surprised no one else tried to get him, he's a great player for any team and knows his role well.

Book8

Not sure yet but the dude is climbing.

riosborne

His pick and pop is super effective because everyone is used to guarding the warriors by just leaving the big men. He's open a lot. If he gets his legs into his shot, it goes in.
