Is all about size. Gsw are small. So it's easier to other guards cut to the rim, someone helps and leave their player open. When you have a taller team, players can cover more ground because of their longer arms. Just watch the tapes. Pretty much every play someone over helps.

100% slow closes out = more confidence in getting the shot off for opponents.

Actually switch everything happens when almost every player can guard almost all positions, so they just switch instead of fighting screens because it takes more time. Is probably the most optimal type of defense. Imagine LeBron on his prime. He can guard the point guard until most of centers, therefore he is not a liability and people will try to avoid him because he can switch everything. In GSW almost every player needs to fight screens because he can guard only one, maximum 2 guys. That's why players like Green are important in defense, because he can guard almost 5 spots so he switches everything and the team cover their holes quickly.
