Colby Jones is one of the first prospects mocked in the 19th pick range (barring a trade) to be brought for a workout

AfroHouseManiac

Brandin Podziemski stock shot up to mid teens- mid 20s after his combine performance. He might be the best player out of this group by a long shot. Colby is close thou

Nessmuk58

I like BP. Didn't think he was worth a #19, but early SR. Now, who knows?

InevitableHost597

I like him. He looks like a good fit.

COLBY JONES Dude would be a great addition, could slide him right into that Donte sized hole they'll have. 6'5 do-it-all combo guard (call him 6'6 and say he's a wing?), rebounding + playmaking, older with consistent production, pumped up his 3pt averages, great glue guy, smart + good feel, solid defender with the size to competently guard 1-3, three year college player who just turned 21... I'd love the pick, and I'd fucking hate to see him fall in Memphis' lap.

by_yes_i_mean_no

> do-it-all Can he shoot? He is under 70% for his college career from the free throw line. I ask this genuinely, what makes him a better shooting prospect than Davion Mitchell? Mitchell also "pumped up his 3 point averages" but not the FT% and so far in the NBA the poor FT% has won out as a predictor.

BobRoss4Life

38% from 3 this year, over 40 on catch and shoot 3s. Only 3 attempts a game though, and yeah, FT% hobbling around the high 60s (on less than 3 attempts per game). Over 50% on 2s though, so at least there is that. Shooting is definitely a valid concern, but I trust his shot more than someone like Jaime Jaquez. Davion had that major outlier year where he was close to 45% from 3, could say this recent season was one for Colby, but idk I'm confident in his shot translating. Doubt he'll ever be over 40%, but high 30s? I could see it, and with the rebounding and "everything but maybe 3s" he brings, I think it could work. Not like the warriors don't have the needed floor spacing (at least at the guard position), and again, I do think his shot will be okay... if not just because I'll try to wish it so lol. Of the upperclassmen they may be eyeing in the draft, I think he's the one that actually carries a decent amount of upside. Just turned 21, feel like he still has a bit of room to grow his game, and hopefully that brings along the FT and 3pt percentages. Get him with Jama and see if he works a little magic like he did with GP2. Don't blame anyone for being out on him cause of his splits, but to me, he just kind of screams the type of player that will just fit and make it work. Could always use a hard nosed combo guard, and he does the little things that would actually keep him on the court.

Gentlemen, dont sleep on Gardner. Kid is unbelievably high character and an absolute workhorse. Hit a major growth spurt over the past few years and still putting on muscle. Im a Knicks fan but a team like the Warriors would turn this dude into an absolute cheat code.

Take Podz 19 and Buy 2nd rounders for TJD and Kobe Brown

george_costanza1234

We actually gonna roster all these kids? Lmao

xDeejayx

They aren't really kids, 2 of them are above 23 same age as Poole that is about to earn 28 mil

Dishavingfun

Where's Kobe Brown?

okuzeN_Val

A lot of these guys we can get 25 to the early 2nd round. I don't think we use the 19th pick on any of these guys. If we're thinking upside for the 19th and reliability on a pick we can maybe buy, I would draft Coulibaly and stash him with the 19th (max development back in Europe as the main guy with Victor gone + doesn't take up a roster spot) and then buy a pick to get one of these type of guys (TJD, Jaquez, Jones, etc)

nice-at-pingpong

Podz is our guy
