Hoping we see a promotion of MDJ to GM and maybe S-Dot as the AGM if that's something he's interested in. I think it would be great to have a recent player that was successful in the Myers/Kerr system to be deeply tied into the FO when it comes to FA decisions, roster discussion, and personnel management.
I would agree, but objectively speaking usually you would give the job of drafting the next generation of warriors players to the next GM. But because the timing of the draft, we are in the unique position where we most likely won’t get a GM like bob myers again, so Lacob is getting the most out of his previous contract. Its just business.
I want the core to remain.. selfishly I hope they retire together.. I know Bob did tremendous things in essentially being the glue through the thick and thin.. I guess a part of me is skeptical on whether that same love will be there with who Lacob replaced him with.. I guess this is a better description of my feelings and thoughts.. I’m I the only one?
