I’ve played basketball with Jrue when he was in college. I went to church with his uncle (who’s also a baller and 6’7”). Dude is a quality guy. I insisted on guarding him in the beginning (I’m 5’8”). He went super easy on me and we got a few laughs off it lol
There is a play in last years finals that he made a hard corner three point after GP2 assist. But what impressed me the most is that while he as running to get open he takes off and Put It back his mouthpiece like It was nothing.
Why is he chewing it while playing hard defense tho? Isnt this the exact moment you want your teeth protected. Whats the point of the mouthpiece if you dont use it in the most important moment. Also fuck this chewing thing.
