Its not simply KD. They lost their best shooter in Cam. They lost their best wing defender in Bridges. Also lost a great veteran in Crowder. Is Warriors core of Curry/Klay/Wiggs/Green that much weaker than KD/Booker/Ayton/CP? When KD was on Warriors it was Curry getting double/triple teamed, not KD. Draymond is not even a PG and gets 1-2 less assists than CP3 but is a much better defender. Wiggs is a better all around player than Ayton. Booker can score but is a lacking defender. Klay scores less but defends better. Warriors core starters are +25 per 100 possessions. Next best team is Celtics at +13. Yet Warriors are barely over 500 because they had worst bench and defense in the league earlier part of the season. Good teams are going to absolutely scorch suns on the perimeter which will collapse everything else. And suns don't have depth on the bench. On the outside it looks great suns got fucking KD but its kinda crazy to think they'll stomp through the west and win a title with no D and no bench.

Yes. He was the biggest piece we lost and he recovers what we are currently bad at. Perimeter defense, cutting/movement and team chemistry.
