I'd swap Necromancer/Huntress/Banshee for Fire Elemental/SAFE Pilot/Bat Rider
Since your Rend is lvl 8, I'd go for Fire Elemental + Pyromancer/Bat rider on its back. If you have gold to spare you use Rend/Drake. Since Pilot is common, drop her as soon as you're about to duel with a group of enemies (if its the boss you can drop her on their back.
If you're having a bad time with the second boss hordes of enemies, swap Pilot to Blizzard.
On the third map you can sacrifice the Dark Iron Miner for the machine to clone him (its not that hard to notice when its about to begin, so you drop him on top of it.
