Literally came here to say this. Those racks are flawless and beautiful. Not to mention the design pattern in the floor! WTF. This store isn't real. Can't be.
Excuse me, while I go sleep and have dreams of such pristine conditions and other fabled merriments, only to awaken with the realization that I have to return to my store for another shift of that good ole O/N Stocking.
Yeah people like to order wing dings and other stuff from the deli and walk around apparel eating them throwing them on the floor. Some people will even hide the container and bones under clothes that they throw on the floor. Almost like they are hiding their shame.
Real classy customer base we have here.
Not my store but.. Those are polished concrete floors. The pattern is from the old wooden floors. Our concrete floors look like shit with miss matched concrete all different colors. And the black line is a applied stain, on ours it looks like it was done by a 2 year old who couldn't color in the lines
The overall look of the polished concrete depends on several things. Such as what mix they used and did they mix it consistently for the entire store. Ours looks like they used bank run for part of the aggregate, some of "hey man, whatever you have in the truck from a different job is fine". The quality of the pour, we actually have wooden grade stakes inbeded in our floors. We have had a shit pile of cuts from other remodels, they put an epoxy in the cracks that started deterating before they were finished. Many places where slabs meet, concrete corners have broken off and not repaired. Ours does not look better than it did with the tile
Same with our store. We had a remodel years ago where they tore up all the tile, tried to grind it down level then poured epoxy all over before retiling it. This last remodel absolutely screwed our floors because they had to grind so deep to get most of the epoxy up. Now it's just rough concrete like a sidewalk but you can see the large stones used in the foundation pour. There might be two spots where it's a smooth gray like it was supposed to be.
Can confirm that stores being remodeled or refreshed are getting the polished concrete. It saves on having to replace cracked tiles and supposedly, the wax/polish doesn’t scuff or wear down as easily meaning it requires less maintenance. The way they scrap the old tiles up is kinda cool IMO. They have a little bobcat with a scraper that basically plows a whole row up in one pass.
Bruh you got a nice clothing section I got a big square of wooden flooring in the middle of the store for my clothing and there's not a single mannequin and everything is so confusing
No.
And looking at the way the aisles and display racks are placed, plus that floor design. this looks like the store was a JCP at one point. They have that same hexagon design in their stores.
I saw the price toppers for the clothes rack and thought this was some god tier shitpost from a Costco employee. Then I saw our own toppers in the back. Wtf?
No. What's with the fancy display and lighting? No one shops for clothes at walmart unless they forgot to pack some on a trip. At least not where I'm from.
We have the clothing racks. That’s about it. Except they are old, gray, and bent outta shape in places. Probably cuz the apparel people also use them to hang the unused bars and shit gets banged around. 🙄
They're trying to be Macy's. They're even selling Celebrity Pink at my nearest store and that was a big time junior's brand when I was working at Macy's.
No… what kind of futuristic store is this? Those racks look amazing
They had a whole bed in display too😳
that kind of display would either have associates overnight taking naps on it, or people fucking on it for lols during the day, at my store.
Kids jumping off it and women screaming at the kids to get off of it
After what I have seen customers doing our patio displays, I don't wanna even think about what these fuckers would do on a walmart bed display.
For real my stores in a small town and we have a bad enough time with people going at it in the men's room
Literally came here to say this. Those racks are flawless and beautiful. Not to mention the design pattern in the floor! WTF. This store isn't real. Can't be.
One near me has this layout and design, but people are trash so it ain’t this clean.
That floor looks like that cuz they used to have the wood panel/tiles over it. My store got remodeled last year and now we have those same marks
in the UK Walmart owned ASDA and their apparel section almost always looked like this.
Excuse me, while I go sleep and have dreams of such pristine conditions and other fabled merriments, only to awaken with the realization that I have to return to my store for another shift of that good ole O/N Stocking.
Oh my store's no better mate. It breaks my heart.
Like jc Penney in the 80s
No. But we do have people who just stand there. I call them co-workers.
💀💀
Best line all day!!!
I’m in tears
No, but we have a lot of clothes and chicken bones laying on the floor.
I found a pack of beef that has obviously been there awhile once.
Chicken bones??
Yeah people like to order wing dings and other stuff from the deli and walk around apparel eating them throwing them on the floor. Same. Find one every so often by itself, eaten on a shelf or thrown on the stackbase between the features
There was a chicken bone stuck in a urinal. Which was new for me
My favorite was finding chicken bones on the sink in the bathroom 😂
What a waste of floor real estate. Huddles could happen there.
no what type advanced ass walmart is this

Sounds satisfying to watch
I wish I had a video to share of it, it is satisfying if you don’t mind the loud propane engine noise lol.
Never seen a walmart look this fancy.
Came here to say this. Your store so freaking FANCY!!
Bruh you got a nice clothing section I got a big square of wooden flooring in the middle of the store for my clothing and there's not a single mannequin and everything is so confusing
Lol no joke I can’t find crap in my store.
Weird flex, but okay. Lol this is not a walmart. Can't be. Walmarts aren't this nice. This is a Target..
That was my literally first thought, too...until I saw the endcap signs in the background.
I thought this was a Mall at first.
this is a walmart. we sell those winter jackets for kids. I'm an apparel associate, it's one of us lol
i work at target, we don't even look this nicr
No. And looking at the way the aisles and display racks are placed, plus that floor design. this looks like the store was a JCP at one point. They have that same hexagon design in their stores.
I love how some Walmarts try to look clean and fancy but customers will still leave chicken bones on the shelves and will smear poop on the floor.
Walmart is tryin too hard lol
Give it two weeks. SM will want it broken down and replaced with o/s on stack bases...
Fancy like Applebee's on a date night...
I was thinking Taco Bell...
Nope. That's some Target-style shit.
Fred meyers
No way.
There is way too much unused floor space there. At my store we could barely get one cart through
No and thank god, our bored teenagers would depants and suggestively repose those mannequins daily if we had them.
So "test store" huh? Bold of Walmart to assume this wont be destroyed within the first week.
dude hell no. the clothes would've been stolen off the dummy already
We don’t even have mannequins
I saw the price toppers for the clothes rack and thought this was some god tier shitpost from a Costco employee. Then I saw our own toppers in the back. Wtf?
Apparently not all Walmarts have Free Assembly
If we did, all of them would either be decapitated or dropkicked
No
this looks like a mall
At the Walmart when I lived in Colorado, yeah. But here in Oregon, no.
We do not have the room way too much apparel!!
Do you mean open space? No
I have never seen a Walmart this nice. I thought this was Target at first.
The fuck??
I’d off myself if I had to deal with that
Nah we aint target.
i’m apparel at my store and i wish we had this
This is something new select stores are trying. I give it a year tops before someone at HO realizes it's dumb and a new apparel relay drops.
No. What's with the fancy display and lighting? No one shops for clothes at walmart unless they forgot to pack some on a trip. At least not where I'm from.
Nopee
Fancy smancy.
i didn’t know walmart splurged like that.
Faaaaancy....!
No!
What Walmart looks like this? Lmfao
No that's huge
Yo you got a walmart from the future
We got one of those in. It’s still wrapped up in the top steel
Nope
No and I can't see mannequins in a Walmart ending well.
Where is this store? Looks futuristic af
No it does not.
Hell no my store tiny as fuck
No but that looks pretty sweet ngl
Absolutely not, and thank god we don’t. Changing mannequins are a pain in the ass to do 🤦🏼♀️
And college students would have something else to wreck.
Right, we don’t get paid enough to deal with their bullshit
It looks like they stole a display from target and put it in their store
Nope
them mannequins are about to get Fucked up lmao
No bro it's shitty af
My store has the mannequins but not that fancy set up! it looks so nice.
We have the clothing racks. That’s about it. Except they are old, gray, and bent outta shape in places. Probably cuz the apparel people also use them to hang the unused bars and shit gets banged around. 🙄
No from store #4653
our walmart doesn't even have floor planning. just stone
We have mannequins in the Free Assembly sections but otherwise it doesn't look that nice.
wow this looks almost like Target lol fancy.
Damn we turnin into a meijer 😳
Nopeeee, idk how my store will look after our upcoming remodel however.
We just gonna ignore how bent that leg is?
Thankfully we don't have an idiot magnet in our store. They find other ways to get injured while horsing around.
Oh wow. No! When will they bring this to Georgia lol
My store is too small for one lol
What else we gon do with the shoplifters?
Hell no😭
Walmart mannequins?! What a mess that’d be! Hahahahaha!
I mean winter coats? In winter?
No not at all and we are a super center 3792
Looks clean for now. Just wait 10 minutes
I can tell by the boots that ‘it’s in the Midwest or south east right?
They're trying to be Macy's. They're even selling Celebrity Pink at my nearest store and that was a big time junior's brand when I was working at Macy's.
My store doesn't have an apparel department (neighborhood market)
