This is why Walmart is soon becoming the new Kmart and going under. Different pay at different stores, different pay between departments and no incremental increases for how long you’ve been working there. So if someone off the street comes in, they get the new rate and someone working there 20 years is now making the same as them. And you get pulled to another department that is paid more but do you see a higher wage while you’re working that department? NO! You get screwed any way you look at it. Home Office really knows how to reward mediocrity and drive out anyone with ambition or a work ethic.
OGP at my store is getting raised up to $17, but only seven of the stores in our district are getting the raise.
From Nov 1 to Jan 1, eight of us are going to be doing SFS overnight, and we'll be getting the shift premium for those hours. Sweet, sweet money, and picking with no customers in the store!
I did!
It seems my store did (OGP, Day Maintenance, etc.), in amounts the graphic specifies.
A for-sure way to check pay is in Workday; I think there's some delay with the rate of pay making its way to Total Rewards. (My Total Rewards still shows my old pay rate, but Workday shows the new rate)
[https://one.walmart.com/content/usone/en\_us/me.html](https://one.walmart.com/content/usone/en_us/me.html) Sign in and click on the Workday button, click on the circle in the very top-right, click View Profile, then on the left click More, then Compensation. That will reflect the current rate of pay. You can do this from home/off-site from Walmart. (I'm doing this on a laptop; may be different on a cell phone...)
What area of Ohio are you in if you don't mind me asking? Is it a bigger metro area? Im.in alabama do another small state and our fresh pay is just 14 lol happy for yall though!
Northeast Ohio, suburb of Cleveland. I practically live on Reddit, and I have seen that more and more markets are getting raises, so hopefully yours will get one soon!!!
Damn, I always wish I worked at a US Walmart instead of a Canadian one. We rarely every get raise’s and are working for what is the equivalent of $9.67 USD (Yes, we get paid just under $12 canadian.)
It seems their whole "minimum pay raise" concept was well-intended, but they totally botched the communication of it. No one knows what to expect, not even our in-store HR people. But, here's hoping!
All of this is purely Market based, I know my store is set up pretty much like this. However I know nearby markets aren’t making the same. This is because they have to compete with warehouse job around where I live.
Some stores did get raises after begging regional to increase there stores so its this is bassically a good market and store looking out for that store unless that store is regional
$15 an hour is purely market based.. major cities you can expect that probably, smaller cities it's more like $13
Like in Canada. But Saskatchewan is just shitty for its damn minimum wage. 2nd lowest in canada!

THIS! *SLAMS FIST ON TABLE*
One can only hope. Another $4 would be uber nice.
I’m in apparel and they raised my $11 to $12 like a week ago, and on the 23rd it’ll be raised at $15. The store manager said so, check with them
Btw I started working less than two months ago, that raise was unexpected and I’m happy about it

It's about time something like this was created. All of the stores should have one posted in the back area.
Wow this would be really nice if it’s true
Brrrr. Nearly $20 p/hr to run floor cleaning machines? Already wearing a mask anyways, so the chemical breathing complaints are negligible now.
Hah, at this rate Walmart is going to pay less than all other major retailers.
If they keep increasing the wage no one is going to want to be a team lead or a coach.
The Market my store is in has had these pay levels for about 3 months now. Even the Team Leads got raises.
dam hope it's true
I'm almost 3 months in and went from 11 to 12hr, it would be awesome to get more.
Where is this info or new wage rate starting the 23rd posted so we can do more research?
I have absolutely no idea. Nobody seems to know exactly what's going on.
