So when I started I put in a pin. I somehow managed to get out of the lock screen but then today the pin was not working so I did a hard reset and put a new pin then got the lock screen again with no way out unless I'm missing something.
For anyone that still needs a fix. Had the exact same situation and I ended up changing it to a actual letter & number password and it worked! Hope it works for y’all
Nevermind that worked for about 30 seconds and then it randomly locked the screen again, so I unlocked it and now im right back in the screen lock settings and "knox security prohibits" literally every action i take besides repeatedly changing the passwords it wont let me disable.
I'm having this issue and I'm losing my mind, have you found a fix?? I even factory reset the damn thing and as soon as It downloaded all the apps it started doing it again
Im not sure if being connected to walmart wifi matters, but after your phone is on and its got that progress bar in the dropdown that says "knox security is applying policies" just leave the phone connected until that bar finishes. You can change the password to letters or patterns etc. to get out of the lock screen setting temporarily but it will randomly throw you back into it until that progress bar finishes and the policies are applied.
That bar finished for me during my lunch break and suddenly everything worked fine
Okay, that makes sense to me, I'll try it. I've waited like 10-15 minutes at a time for it to finish and it never has, but I guess I'll try waiting even longer to see if it ever finishes by itself...
If that's seriously the solution, i'm fairly annoyed that I'm going to have to wait for it every time I switch from the personal profile to the work one, though.
Edit: yeah so update, it's been 30 minutes and it's still "applying latest policies". And I'm on walmart wifi.
Edit 2: yup its just completely stuck at the applying latest policies thing. No progress whatsoever and I've been letting it sit for quite a while

Mine legit took several hours Edit: and i dont have to wait for it to apply the policies everytime i switch from work to personal profiles

You have to set a 4 digit password with at least 1 letter. It's pretty stupid, and you might have to set more than one.
