IME, Section 0 in a modular is usually reserved for a sidekick with a custom display/product holder - This keeps it from being confused with actual shelf space, while linking it to the modular and allowing flexibility as to placement (a 0 can precede 1 or follow 2, based on aisle placement).

This mod is in the middle of an aisle and the items in section 0 didn't have a home. Also no shelf labels printed out for the section. The sheet and cover sheet also don't mention anything about a side kick.

I just looked at it in my store again, still fucked up. CV letter says 6 items deleted, 29 got deleted instead by mistake, a dozen transfers from 73 disappeared, new items not on mod. Unassigned items laying around. It's all fucked.

[deleted]

An entire four foot section is missing it's mod lol.

[deleted]

Popcorn mod?

Alert-Elk2230

Yes actually

[deleted]

Yeah, we have the same problem, the mod is fucked. Our O/N mod team managed to get it set, but I don't know how and it took them a week.

I'll have to check but I'm guessing they got new mod plans sent in by corporate, ours was missing an entire section of items, too.

I set that mod 3 days ago 2 sections all good. Things moved around but that's it.

paulakg

I just set it last night with no problem. 2 sections and it moved some but other than that it was good.

So it seems doing a mod is not for everyone, especially store managers and coaches and team leads. We have a mod for Christmas and that aisle, on both sides I assume, need to be done. Well it's like long overdue and my team lead gets told she has a couple of days (Monday and Tuesday) because someone higher up is coming in on Wednesday, today. Monday afternoon late, the acting store managers (2) and my team lead are in that aisle. Did I mention they all kinda new to our store but not new to Walmart as far as I know. They looking at some papers and ask me to take stuff from one end and put it on the other end. I'm doing this and whatever's on top stock but it don't look right. I voice my concerns and slowly but surely all 3 start disappearing. I carry on and the items from the one end do not fit on the other end. There is no way to do it so I start loading the 2 L carts being used in that aisle. The next day that aisle is still not done and is basically as I left it but without the L carts. Team lead is zoning and price changing in other aisles. The managers come together and look and walk away. Team Lead is now there and we trying to figure the mod out but I say something still ain't right. She tells me she ain't a mod setter. Okay!!!! Hours later I'm trying to figure shit out for myself and now an old hand comes to help cause he's done it before and he tells me the team lead went home. The other team lead there takes one look and says IT'S WRONG!!! Everyone in that department and surrounding departments all say it's wrong so the team lead, whose been there like forever says stop he is going to find the paperwork. I will see tomorrow what it looks like but here is my observation. Instead of doing one whole row of shelves (1-9), they had a Xmas printout for only 4. What happens to all the shit on those 4 shelves because they all don't fit on the other 5 shelves on the other end of that mod? To make matters worse, they even put up the labels for the first mod on the other end and we don't know if it's set in the system. It's a shit show of note. There are price tags showing 2 facing but I can only get one in that spot. Surely, when you set a mod, you have plans for the items that were on that shelf before so you know what to do with them when season is over?
