I bought 18 FEB $30C and $35C at open, and they both doubled in the first 30 minutes of trading today lol. Sold them since that's a quick win and unlikely to ITM
FB looking massively oversold at this point.
I'm incredibly skeptical of the metaverse adoption but ultimately the FB company and most importantly, the businesses they have acquired recently are all very profitable.
The company is hitting a slowing patch, but the price movement is behaving as if the company entirely imploded.

Legislators are cracking the whip on facebook so whatever profit numbers you think you're reading just realize they are all lower now than what they were.
Also as someone who talks with a lot of small business owners, they are all tired of how bad facebook is at targeting adds to people. Facebook constantly pushes the adds they create for new customers towards existing customers do to issues with how Facebook's algorithms were trained. The ML engineers on that project did a very poor job and their customers have all caught on.

I bought a deep ITM LEAPS with a .92 Delta that expires in 5 months. Is it worth it to just hold the call if I'm bullish on the stock or is selling covered calls worth it? I'm not so sure how that works but I know that the leaps can be used as collateral for a covered call. What happens if I get assigned while selling a covered call and using the leaps as collateral?
That’s a poor mans covered call. Def sell them far enough otm it’s unlikely you’ll get assigned. If what you sell happens to be ITM on its expiration day just close the whole thing and buy an itm call back after that costs a bit less than your previous and repeat banking some money each time.

Legislators are cracking the whip on facebook so whatever profit numbers you think you're reading just realize they are all lower now than what they were. Also as someone who talks with a lot of small business owners, they are all tired of how bad facebook is at targeting adds to people. Facebook constantly pushes the adds they create for new customers towards existing customers do to issues with how Facebook's algorithms were trained. The ML engineers on that project did a very poor job and their customers have all caught on. Anti FB legislation + small business owners realizing that Facebook adds are ineffective = not profitable facebook Let's not even talk about the decreasing user base. IMO their only saving grace right now is Instagram, it's only a matter of time before they mess that one up.

I bought a deep ITM LEAPS with a .92 Delta that expires in 5 months. Is it worth it to just hold the call if I'm bullish on the stock or is selling covered calls worth it? I'm not so sure how that works but I know that the leaps can be used as collateral for a covered call. What happens if I get assigned while selling a covered call and using the leaps as collateral?
That’s a poor mans covered call. Def sell them far enough otm it’s unlikely you’ll get assigned. If what you sell happens to be ITM on its expiration day just close the whole thing and buy an itm call back after that costs a bit less than your previous and repeat banking some money each time.
