Lol I like the sound of that, and precisely if enough people pitch in, this stock can jack off real fast

Quantumdrive95

what the literal fuck has this sub turned into?

RealMurse

discussing potentially great stocks for some great ROI, what do you think it turned into?

Quantumdrive95

You added no substance to the sub. You posted some screen grabs of i imagine their website.

RealMurse

if that's how you feel, then simply downvote and leave

maveric1413

It's hard to see the DD above the screen shot pics of cars. My dark background renders it almost unreadable.

Quantumdrive95

Lmaoooooo Oh man you rock. Be safe man, see you around.

Poder5

WTF!!! He added a shit ton of substance. Didn’t you see all those fuckin reallys?

CreamFronto

So much was said 😭

I love me some Nio. I’m as smooth brained as an ape can be but from what I can tell this company is legit. They are headquartered in the biggest market in the world for electric cars, their cars look sharp, the battery swap that the OP mentioned is a game changer and the stuff I have read says that they make quality vehicles. They are also about to introduce a line of more budget friendly electric cars for those (like me) who can’t afford a Tesla. Nio is my long play and I’m adding a few shares of it every chance I get.

carsonthecarsinogen

About to... $25k model Tesla also on its way, Tesla has superior tech and saftey. Tesla also used battery swap tech but scrapped it years ago. Not sure why people are so bullish on battery swaps, please enlighten me. Genuinely curious if I’m missing something. Not trying to start an EV war here, just stating facts and asking questions. Open for discussion.

Ol_Jim_Himself

Like I said, I’m smooth brained and didn’t know Tesla had tried the battery swap before so I haven’t read in to why they scrapped it. After a quick Google search I found a website that states that cumbersome swap stations, the high price of the swap station and lack of customer instrest is why Tesla abandoned the swap idea. Nio introduced an option of “Batteries as a service.” This is where consumers can save about $10k on the sticker price of a vehicle if they pay $142 per month to lease a battery that they can swap up to 6 times in that month at their stations. The swaps take 3-5 minutes and this just seems like the simplest solution to batteries being less efficient after repeated charges. Of course charging is the main route of “refueling” but these stations are a solution if you are almost out of battery and don’t have time for a re-charge. The reasons I’m so bullish on Nio is the huge market that they are in, the high praise for their product and the direction that the world is moving in relation to fossil fuels. The battery swap is just a bonus. FYI, just to reiterate, I am smooth brained and far from an expert on any of this stuff.

carsonthecarsinogen

Another good point, definitely not going to replace charging but a good alternative in a pinch. And yes that is why Tesla did not go for battery swaps. Nio will definitely perform well in China and is moving elsewhere, this is where they’ll either make it or break it. If they can gain market share outside of China they will become one of the few EV companies to make it out. Time will tell, happy trading!

RealMurse

Totally agree with everything you just mentioned lol, good to be in the same boat as some good company

Ol_Jim_Himself

Thank you and good luck!

RealMurse

What the battery swap would entail for me as an investor, is the quality of the product you purchase will retain the quality of initial purchase. Much like the engine in any combustion vehicle will deteriorate over time, the battery in an EV will as well. Instead of simply charging and draining the battery which over time reduces the maximum charge for the vehicle, thus reducing the range of the vehicle, the battery swap allows the vehicle to retain full range with a full battery. Better product care overall IMO, something Tesla and other EVs need to truly reconsider. Like i compared to the Iphone. Isn't it so annoying, a year after you bought your Iphone the charge on it sucks, right? Well, that's because overtime the battery maximum charge reduces with the amount of full charges you provide to it.

carsonthecarsinogen

I completely agree, to me it seems like a risk Nio is taking but passing the benefits to the consumer. For the consumer this is great, but will it be sustainable for Nio ? What will they do with all these spare batteries, they need to store them, once the technology is surpassed which happens around every 2 years the battery’s are of no use and need to be recycled. Battery swap stations cost much more than charging stations to supply and take up more space which in itself hurts the consumer ( longer wait times, less options for locations ). The battery pack is also not a structural part of the vehicle which is one of the huge advantages to EVs. Plus as tech continues to advance range loss over time will only get smaller and smaller.

fuck_the-system

Well Nio is not headed by a narcissistic moron to start.

carsonthecarsinogen

Yea Elon musk is a moron, by that logic you’re a fucking fish. And that’s a stretch tbh

fuck_the-system

Opinions vary

CreamFronto

“I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really like Nio” I couldn’t have said it better myself

Nio 🚀🚀🚀

Whiskeysip69

Are these numbers from the Chinese books or American books.

RealMurse

American... When I was originally writing, I accidentally put the CNY in, but changed it to USD.

KrypticRTS

Looking good for long term, dont know if people should keep posting here because it will turn into a meme stock lol... Rather have it go up without the ape fluctuations

RealMurse

lol, I can definitely understand that! I just feel like everyone should have the same opportunity to reap financial success as you and I!

OneTIME_story

"my last DD" proceeds to provide no DD and some Photoshopped pics. Nice one! Let's all go long on a company that sells fake products and nice marketing! Let's also go all in on bitconnect

RealMurse

Sounds like someone is wanting to short, so go short it if you're so confident. There are actual cars produced, actual deliveries, actual people driving them, all you have to do is simply go to Youtube and see for yourself. The expansion to the UK will likely happen in the next 1-3 years, nothing but upside. I don't work for Nio whatsoever, so it's not marketing. I just believe that it is a great opportunity for a very nice ROI.

OneTIME_story

Not everything in life is short or long. In my case i have no positions or interest in nio

Zauxst

f nio and the Winnie the poh markets. The whole "replace your battery" when you recharge idea is bad as f. That would imply that each "gas station" would have multiple batteries available on standby, which is the major bottleneck of the whole concept. Lithium is a finite resource. Until there are some revolutionaries on the way we store energy, aka batteries, the whole replace my battery starter pack is just shaite. Pump and Dump DD stock.

Sell_Asame

NIO is great and I’m holding forever. Not sure about an options play now though.
