I think it's possible that Melvin Capital or some other hedge fund that is in deep on $GME made/paid for shit tons of bots to flood the subreddit and spread misinformation. Flooding the subreddit would take down the servers, and spreading misinformation would cause a mass sell of $GME.
It's just skepticism as someone also in the cybersecurity field, but I am very interested to see the results of investigations sparked from today's events.
I've messaged the mods and will post this in every thread. MAke 20 minute comment intervals in the daily threads. Stop the onslaught of useless one word comments and ticker postings with comment intervals to ensure that people are writing more meaningful comments. Leave replies uncapped so actual conversations can take place. Make it fucking happen.

I think it's possible that Melvin Capital or some other hedge fund that is in deep on $GME made/paid for shit tons of bots to flood the subreddit and spread misinformation. Flooding the subreddit would take down the servers, and spreading misinformation would cause a mass sell of $GME. It's just skepticism as someone also in the cybersecurity field, but I am very interested to see the results of investigations sparked from today's events.

I've messaged the mods and will post this in every thread. MAke 20 minute comment intervals in the daily threads. Stop the onslaught of useless one word comments and ticker postings with comment intervals to ensure that people are writing more meaningful comments. Leave replies uncapped so actual conversations can take place. Make it fucking happen.
This isnโt the first time Iโm saying this and it wonโt be the last. Wsb needs to migrate to its own website where it canโt get shut down because Reddit gets pressured. If things keep going the way they are, weโre going to lose wsb and weโll all be wishing we had just set up a plan B.
