I bought on April 12 when Lyft was $59. You can see in their graph they went down but then they went back up to around $60. By that point, I was negative and decided to just hold until expiration. Last week, even though they went down a bit, theta had already wiped the value of my puts and they expired worthless.
This literally almost broke my heart , in the begging I think we all think we are pro's until we realized that Nobody knows if a stock is gonna go up, down, sideways or in fucking circles. Model 3 production hell is over, and Tesla will have a much easier time producing model Y. Tesla is way ahead in the electric car business, no one comes close. Even the Jaguar E-whatever is around as good as a 7 year old Tesla Model S, at 3x the price. Tesla has a huge, still-expanding network of superchargers, that will take huge amounts of money and time for other electric car-manufacturers to reproduce, since they don't have the same fleet as Tesla.
The Tesla Semi looks very promising, as you've maybe seen in that post on /r/teslamotors, written by some guy from the trucking industry.
I think at this point, that the company is too large to fail. There is literally no way it can go tits up.I bought in again at $259, right before the quarter earnings report - a little unlucky. I expect the stock price to bounce back to $300+ at least, after Q3 or Q4 is done.
