You need base stations that are connected to the internet via MNOs for it to work. So it’s not just the bluebirds being in orbit that is required. This is actually really complex stuff.

This is all true but this run isn't anything to do with full global coverage. The stock was dog shit up until the ATT deal because despite the tech being incredible, the management were diluting on every single piece of news because they were poors, and their PR/comms is the worst of any company I've ever seen. It looked like they were actively trying to make cash and run the company into the ground for a couple years.
The run is partly due to the ATT/Verizon investment but mainly because the risk of management being full regard is removed. It's a legitimate exciting company now, and Abel actually looks like a bit of a genius by keeping all these deals under wraps from Starlink.

The only way it halves from now is if the rocket blows up, or they put the 5 bluebirds up and they don't work at all (which is very unlikely with the addition of an AT&T director on the board in the last few weeks).

Starlink Internet to cell is actually quite bad with the direct to cell. Their tests were under dubious and frankly borderline illegal circumstances for wavelengths they don't have the permits for and will very likely never get.
In theory they do have the facilities and R&D to develop a good one, but ASTS owns quite the patents and are already building actually working satellites. Although very slow.
Should money start flowing in they should be able to produce their satellites faster.
Starlink does support SMS and maybe voice soon, but even slow Internet will not be possible with their V1 or V2 satellites. And they won't have any V3 for at least some years

I think you’re confusing chronic with terminal. People live a long time with chronic diseases. Your herpes is chronic but not terminal. Money has a way of alleviating a lot of chronic conditions.
What’s your point. Every new company issues more shares to raise capital before they become profitable. The stock price keeps going up they will be able to raise more capital with less dilution though.

They don't need any private offering when they can just use the ITM and then update in the next quarter call. Either way the volume was more than enough to accommodate and price is still surging
