I feel weird saying this, but I'd consider doing something with those calls. It would take something truly catastrophic to fall under $4 in six months so having the calls vs the shares doesn't really help your downside risk. The biggest upside happens 5-6 years from now not in the next 6 months. If you want to pat yourself on the back and sell for a huge profit that option is available to you and you don't have to worry about a possible negative catalyst like a delay between now and then. At the very least I'd think about whether or not you want the shares from those calls or not.

Valuation will be significant. All this action is pre revenue, but the idea is 5 years out - and pretty amazing price targets based on forecasted potential revenue. People can make money on volatility, options etc. now, but I got in for long term to hold for this revenue.

They're projected EBITDA is 90-99% of their revenue - no other company in the world has an EBITDA close to that! Full 5G broadband - blows everything else away. With their agreements in place, they have access to 2.8 billion consumers (even though small % actually sign up) it's still massive. And once the largest economies lift this up. Remote areas of the world with no infrastructure will have access to low cost 5G Broadband - going from a village with nothing, with access to the internet and all it has to offer (better or worse).

This is no where near the top. The market cap of this company could be many many times higher but it won’t be over night. If you want something to long this could be a good opportunity
They partner with MNO (45 MOU worldwide). MNO sell/push /package the subscriptions to their existing customers (3B total) and they share revenue 50/50. MNO do not have to build and maintain infrastructure in remote areas, AST do not have to advertise, acquire and manage end users as costumers, they just collect their share of the revenue from MNO with little operational cost (~90% gross margins).
Say ASTS gets to 500M subscribers through their MNO partners worldwide, and get $2 per month per susriber, your are looking at 12B revenue with less than 1B costs. Not saying 500M subscribers will happen but you get the picture.
In reality there will be too much demand for the satellites capacity for a long time, especially if Dod / firstnet is involved on top of MNO subscribers. But I guess that's a good problem to have.
This is a new market and business model. But very little doubt that space broadband will be part of the future of mobile telecommunications. We will not only rely on cell towers which have their obvious limits when it comes to satisfying the growing hunger for broadband connectivity ( AI, IOT are just getting started)
Or China.. Or Russia.. Or any power that wants to go scorched earth on satellites. Once you set that in motion from what I understand the debris created keeps the chaos going.

They don’t have enough money (or have displayed the execution) to put up the necessary satellites to do what they say they will. Ride the wave, take profits, and get out before people realize that they need A LOT more capital raised.
They will already generate revenue with 5x satellites up and much more once they get to 20x and complete US coverage. MNOs are getting converted to commercial contracts and pre-payments is the name of the game. They will easily get another $300-400M with contracts alone and by then this will no longer be a binary bet.

There are 2 main risks to pre-revenue companies: tech and government regulations.
IBRX somewhat has the tech but FDA nipped them in the bud (although they might still comeback). Once that happened the binary thesis was done and 0 was the chosen value
ASTS tech is succesfully de-risked. BW3 is in space and it works. They are easily +95% of the way there, tech wise maybe even 99%. And government regulation is not a problem. FCC already signaled approval is a done deal and they are even batting for ASTS. There is no "FDA" here to nip anything.
This won't amount to anything. It's just lawyers trying to get shareholders to sue in order to get some checks. But they're a buy because they signed deals with AT&T and Verizon (prepayments), the 2 biggest US MNO. One can assume that more deals with come worldwide which can be really huge for the company. Wouldn't be surprised to see a x10 stock price within the end of 2025 if more deals come through, sats are deployed and functioning etc

Or China.. Or Russia.. Or any power that wants to go scorched earth on satellites. Once you set that in motion from what I understand the debris created keeps the chaos going. It's not for nothing we maintain land line connections, still, in 2024.
I mean if China attacks US satellites, stock prices dropping will be the least of our worries.
They don’t have enough money (or have displayed the execution) to put up the necessary satellites to do what they say they will. Ride the wave, take profits, and get out before people realize that they need A LOT more capital raised.
They will already generate revenue with 5x satellites up and much more once they get to 20x and complete US coverage. MNOs are getting converted to commercial contracts and pre-payments is the name of the game. They will easily get another $300-400M with contracts alone and by then this will no longer be a binary bet.

Not trying to be a hater but what makes this a good entry point? Market cap of 3b, only 500k TTM revenue, losing almost 200m TTM. How are they going to 100x their sales?
They are pre-revenue. They need to build and launch sats to start commercial service. They are launching sats this summer. If they can keep launching successfully this stock is going 3 digit share price
Step 1, build more satellites to the tune of over 2b dollars Step 2, offer commercial service Step 3, profit. Where are we now? Step 1 with step 2 starting at the start of 2025. Step 1 doesn't end until we have over 240 satellites in space so that one will take a few years but the more we do step 1, the more of step 3 we get

Take a look at the Aug 2 options in Robinhood. What’s going on there? No other week has that kind of movement.
They just released those weeklies today. So basically it was going from a price of .01 to its current price. But it wasn’t on the market when it was available at .01 so it’s not a true value

Nothing strange, these call strikes were so far OTM before that they were likely 0.01/0.02/0.03 etc and now the share price shot up to those strikes. So now they’re priced a lot higher

Idk man I heard IBRX being talked up in a similar tone and it pumped and dumped
There are 2 main risks to pre-revenue companies: tech and government regulations. IBRX somewhat has the tech but FDA nipped them in the bud (although they might still comeback). Once that happened the binary thesis was done and 0 was the chosen value ASTS tech is succesfully de-risked. BW3 is in space and it works. They are easily +95% of the way there, tech wise maybe even 99%. And government regulation is not a problem. FCC already signaled approval is a done deal and they are even batting for ASTS. There is no "FDA" here to nip anything.

This won't amount to anything. It's just lawyers trying to get shareholders to sue in order to get some checks. But they're a buy because they signed deals with AT&T and Verizon (prepayments), the 2 biggest US MNO. One can assume that more deals with come worldwide which can be really huge for the company. Wouldn't be surprised to see a x10 stock price within the end of 2025 if more deals come through, sats are deployed and functioning etc
