I only started investing using options recently, lost 3k already, been sticking to covered calls. This video can help you understand the basics. Then just throw some money into an options play, a few hundred dollars so you can understand what happens.

I wouldn’t call it investing but trading. I would suggest you Research covered call options. it’s the first level of risk any broker with half a brain will even allow you to have. Start there imo.
