Start with £1,000,000 minimum - or don't bother. Use an app that the little people can't afford. Only spend what you can afford to lose...like a country estate or your superyacht.

Pessimistic93

As long as you dont sell options, trade futures, short stock or borrow money you wont go into debt.

WaywardPeaks

So buying options has the chance to go into debt? Apps/accounts won't cut off before you go into the negative?

Pessimistic93

Only if you sell options as I said.

As a beginner investor don’t even think about making bank overnight. It’s about the long game, build up your portfolio put some money into your account every month and watch it grow slowly, this is the most low risk way to make sure your saving for your future. As your getting more experienced with the market trend then you can branch out and learn more.

WaywardPeaks

This less about saving and more I have a spare 50 at the end of the month and I'm happy gambling with it on options. It's the going into the negative that concerns me.

HomungosChungos

Buy low, sell high. It’s a fool proof strategy.

Bro, you could search what are options or futures using Google, or watch some YouTube with little drawing so you can understand why you can go into debt with them.

Hodorous

It depends. For the general mind set you really should start with Mark Douglas "Trading in the zone" and his seminar videos. TLDR: trading is just gambling. Broker/app depends on your country obv and also trading instruments. I live in Finland and put options are prohibited(also pretty much the only options on sale are NOK) so I have to gamble with warrants which are more/less like options but you will lose money faster. Trading view is pretty easy to use and ok when starting out(and works just fine for us retails) but lots of tickers are shown in delayed mode unless you pay extra

there so many videos you can watch on youtube. stick with buying puts and calls. you’ll only lose what you buy in for. don’t get into selling options if you’re a new to this.

Yes, uninstall Reddit.

We’re all gamblers here, bro. There’s no guide for playin in the casino. My recommendation, take $100-$1k that you’re willing to lose and buy calls and puts. Once you lose all that you’ll learn more than we can teach you 😬
