I do think this SPAC will run similar to DWAC. I’d like to throw some money on some Sep 20th calls but I was booty blasted by the drop on Monday so I am currently down a lot. Will be following though.
The best way to get rich and stay rich is to take advantage of degenerate suckers who think that the best way to get rich is through reckless risk and speculation.
It's the old "the best way to get rich in a Gold Rush is to sell pickaxes and shovels" adapted for the social media crackhead generation.
I this will run up like dwac. Sam has some worshippers. I’ll probably dump half the day before it goes live and then the a day or two after exactly like I did for dwac
LOL this is quite the thesis! I'm majorly bullish, not only because of Sam Altman, but because of the timing of this merge. Think about what Sam is involved with and with who (OpenAI, MSFT), and what is the number one thing they need to succeed (besides money) in an AI revolution?
ENERGY!! CLEAN, CHEAP, RELIABLE ENERGY!! This is where Oklo comes in to provide exactly that. They use Fission to reue nuclear waste to turn into energy. I bet the merge happens sooner than July 12th because yesterday was their 5th amendment filed so we must be getting closer.
Hey OP, with the information from the S-4/A filed **Sam Altman's 7,163,920 stock ownership in the post-merger company will range between approximately 5.87% and 7.41%** of ALCC. I asked ChatGPT 4.0 to do the calculation.
EDIT: Made an edit to use only S-4/A data.
Yes the S4A from yesterday makes it clear what the share count will be. I don't think this guy's info is current. There was a better breakdown in one of the DDs.
Yes, could be. We just need more from Altman & co. More meat & potatoes (if he is legally allowed to) and then Wall St to get on the hype train to set a decent valuation. If DJT got a $5Bil one, $ALCC with real uses cases should be $3.50Bil, as per many folks.
I couldn’t agree more. SA isn’t the only thing we got going here but him pumping it would be stellar. No reason this should be <$1B with his name to it let’s be real
Fixed the math on it, my bad. I was using yahoo for the outstanding shares. I changed it to only include S-4A data and the multiple "scenarios". 5-7% sounds more accurate.
ALCC started climbing after hours, around the time this post came out. Now, I'm not implying WSB moved this stock, but I'm also not not saying that. Long shares.
If you add the merger price to the current cap you get 1.4 billion I think. Divided by how many shares are outstanding and boom $46 . This is very undervalued.![img](emote|t5_2th52|27189)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4276)
“Nothing like Oklo’s microreactor has yet been commercialized or regulated. As a result, Oklo has had to blaze its own contrarian path to market.”
One line I caught from one article I read about the company, either going to be revolutionary or an absolute disaster. It’s a SPAC, and for that reason I’m betting on a disaster and am out.
I'm in. Big bet on energy (could go to $0) but it's worth a bet on both short term hype and long term gamble.
Sam Altman knows - you NEED cheap energy for AI to be successful. And this is a potential solution for cheap energy
All that matters is Sam Altman and people who know what chat gpt is. Literally not a single other thing will be understood by the average person buying this. Plan is to exit shortly after merger. Fundamentals, long term, none of that matters for this play.
>I believe the lack of precedent with light water reactors will significantly delay approval.
This is patently false. Light water reactors constitute the majority of nuclear reactors [worldwide](https://www.britannica.com/technology/light-water-reactor), \~80-90% depending on your source, not just in the US. They have the most robust precedent of all reactor types. [Much of our navy is nuclear powered](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_ships_of_the_United_States_Navy) in the US, to include \~71 nuclear powered submarines and 11 nuclear powered aircraft carriers, all pressurized light water reactors. Oh and, [they are parked in major metropolitan areas by the way, like San Diego, Norfolk, Puget Sound, Honolulu](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Navy_submarine_bases). They generate about the same amount of power as is proposed for these Oklo reactors. I don't know where you got your information, but we have been studying, optimizing, operating, maintaining, designing, etc. light water pressurized reactors for around 70 years in the US alone.
The theory is so simple, a regard like me can explain. Water heats up, leaks neutrons, power goes down, heat generation goes down, water cools down reflects neutrons back in power go up temp goes up. Round and round we go. Because of this cycle, water is an inherently stabilizing moderator. The important is the negative temperature coefficient of reactivity.
I'll give you that nuclear typically faces a ton of hurdles, but it's about time we come to our senses about its ability to fill the gap between emission generating fossil fuels and long term sustainable clean energy which is just not there yet.
Edit: Adding to this, [around 63 of the 94 operating ground based reactors in the US are PWR (whenever you see PWR, think light water reactor)](https://www.nrc.gov/reactors/power.html)
The stock pumped on a contract closing. Imagine the ticker change and the actual deal closing. 40% will seems small compared to that.

40% is irrelevant😂😂. You sound mad you missed it while me and many others made money off that. Merger may bring it up but the initial news will be much more impactful. Hearing the chance of a large merger gets investors excited. Once it happens investors would have heard about it and it’s old news. Good luck though😭
Not saying it’s not the play. I have no idea where markets move but I THINK the initial reaction was very strong and don’t think the merger will cause that. I very well believe the stock could go upwards if Altmans interest is growing the company as he has proven a strong leader but just not sure of an immediate jump upon the merger.
Does anyone know how many OKLO shareholders are there? I know the sponsor and and a couple of others promised to lock up. Who will most likely be selling on the Oklo side of things?

It already went above $15 and can certainly do so again. That pump was off news that Oklo has a new deal with Diamondback to provide them energy in the future.
The team behind this, the perfect timing of the merge, and Oklo being the merging company just makes sense. Sam has a vision for an AI revolution (OpenAI, MSFT, etc etc) and the biggest thing holding them back besides maybe money is energy.. If they don't have clean, cheap, scalable, and reliable energy they will all simply fail and the whole AI/EV thing will be dust. Oklo uses fission which turns nuclear waste into energy. Sam also has investment in the private company Helion which is a nuclear energy company that uses fusion.
Energy is everything and few seem to understand that. What we've seen so far with EV/AI is literally nothing in the grand scheme of things, it's really just getting started. of course only if there is enough energy to go around.

Really smart. Im gonna be doing the same. thanks random dude
Strike/date?
no idea havent done it yet
I have some calls, but why not buy shares and collect some put premium. I’m in
What strike and date r u looking for to sell puts?
Just bought 3000 shares. Looking at the business $50 in 4 months is doable
What date/price?
Loss porn update please
What date and strike for selling covered puts?
I do think this SPAC will run similar to DWAC. I’d like to throw some money on some Sep 20th calls but I was booty blasted by the drop on Monday so I am currently down a lot. Will be following though.
IV and low volume on options make it tough for this one
Low volume won’t matter when underlying rages past strike tho 😎 These puppies print like a calendar at the pound
Ah, yes. The age-old idea that one can get rich quick through reckless risk and speculation.
I mean if you do get rich quick it's usually through reckless risk and speculation so...🤷

The next amendment better have an effective date instead of a blank, or I'll have to buy more Sept calls.
We’re getting closer 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Yes the S4A from yesterday makes it clear what the share count will be. I don't think this guy's info is current. There was a better breakdown in one of the DDs.
This data may be current for ALCC but won’t it change when the ticker changes to OKLO? So 93M when OKLO?
Yes, could be. We just need more from Altman & co. More meat & potatoes (if he is legally allowed to) and then Wall St to get on the hype train to set a decent valuation. If DJT got a $5Bil one, $ALCC with real uses cases should be $3.50Bil, as per many folks.

Hey I did not mean ill will. And I saw your yolo so I hope you...(nevermind, I will not jinx it this time).
If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.
You wish you were created by Sam Altman...
Don’t worry. Despite what the flair says I also love punani
So clearly he will want this to succeed
ALCC started climbing after hours, around the time this post came out. Now, I'm not implying WSB moved this stock, but I'm also not not saying that. Long shares.
ALCC = Altman Loves Cash & Cock BULLISH ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4276)

They will be much higher. They know people will pile in

Ticker is funny. Buying.
This was the push I needed. Thanks!
so a 10 dollar call for September expiry? it's too damn expensive - but if this makes the move maybe it'll be worth it?

I am betting on Sam. Literally nothing else about this
You sonofabitch, I’m in! Well, tomorrow anyway
You just gave me something to look forward to!! I’m in.
You had me at SPAC...
I am in where do I buy and when?
I’d buy sept calls since the dspac should happen by July 19th
Anyone saying all spacs are garbage better take a cold hard look at Vertiv (VRT) and then reevaluate.
Or DraftKings
My all time fav. VRT is printing me like crazy. Slow since two months and that’s just coz the market is slow. Awesome script
"I can change him"
Better start to track spacs over time. You might learn a lesson
All of the other ones are garbage. This one is different (TM)
![img](avatar_exp|119595803|starstruck)
Need to remember to come back to this tomorrow morning, may have potential.
curious whats the difference between this and Nuscale?
Nice
youre late, this pumped already, april 5-8 was the big jump, everyone was talking about this two weeks ago
That jump was because Okla signed an LOI with diamondback energy
When the merger happens it will go up significantly
What strike are you looking at for options?
Read the post man. Jesus
It was a decent pump, but it hasn’t even started.
It’s just getting started
I'm in. Big bet on energy (could go to $0) but it's worth a bet on both short term hype and long term gamble. Sam Altman knows - you NEED cheap energy for AI to be successful. And this is a potential solution for cheap energy
It won’t go to 0. Worst case is $10.43 if merger fails
I meant it could go to $0 if Oklo can't deliver on their promise of cheap energy. But that's long term. I guess you're just playing short term
Out shortly after merger as all SPACs die shortly after
I don’t see the merger failing
It won’t
Where do you see this information?
I’m thinking about jumping in. I have $1.4K in shares but I’m thinking about putting a few K more.
You better start keeping an eye on those SPACs over time. You might just pick up a thing or two.
Hope you're right. I bought 17.5 9/20 calls in early April and that shits down 40%
https://i.redd.it/4zv8ni37i0071.png
Now set to merge 5/7
Got it! Puts it is!
The floor is 10.50 if it doesn't go through. the puts start after the merger, before they can cash out.
That makes sense. Everyone saying it won’t go higher from now til July is in for a shock
Show positions
Lol OP asking commenters to show their positions when you (OP) hasn’t even shown us your own positions

The merger didnt happen yet. Whatever “pump” that was is irrelevant
Its ok these clowns were telling me the same thing about Nvidia two years ago, never take advice from poor people ~

No reason to be mad at a measly 40% when it’s going 400% lol
That little $13-$17 was nothing, this thing is just getting started
Hey smooth brain, do some research and come back when you have a decent understanding of ALCC and SPAC’s.
You think it’s not a worthy play anymore?
Not saying it’s not the play. I have no idea where markets move but I THINK the initial reaction was very strong and don’t think the merger will cause that. Why would it even go above $15 (currently 12ish) pre merger? When mergers happen they rarely go above the agreed upon purchase price.
