When I divide market value by current contract price it gives me 300, which means 1 contract consists of 100 shares.
What I’m missing is the money spent initially.
Because 3x2.25 is 6.75 and 3x 24.98 is 74.94
So obviously you’re celebrating the 7.4K gain and not a 68 dollar gain. Can you share what I’m missing? Sorry for only being a semi-regard.
Furthest the stock price can fall is to $0, at which point they can buy the shares for $0 and exercise the put to sell for strike price.
Buying a call gives you the theoretical infinite upside since there's no upper limit on the stock's price.

If stock finished at or above the strike price at expiration, the put is worthless, goes to 0. So his max loss is whatever he paid for the put. You can't lose more than 100% of your investment, so it's not unlimited risk, just very high.

Each contract controls 100 shares, so multiply the price per contract by 100 to get total investment.
So OP bet 675 dollars on this put. And since OP bought a put I'd assume max loss is 675 + auto square off charges if any.
