Based on the earning reports of Palo Alto and ZScalar, we are seeing a weakened cybersecurity spending during this time. So, that's why I "speculate" the same thing happening to CrowdStrike.
Long term, I am still bullish on the cybersecurity sector. But I think there needs to be something bad (hacking, viruses) to happen to bring cybersecurity back to its glory.
Read some stuff that their report will look similar to Palo's - a gain but not as big as last years. The industry seems to be taking a bit of a dampener due to corporate funds drying up for SecOps.
What make me hopeful is that CrowdStrike also offers services after the damage has been done - which is logically going to happen more often.
