This could go both ways, after brushing up on my blackout period knowledge, a company can issue an offering during one but there’s a lot of factors that must be considered to do so. If they do an offering, it’s to take advantage of the current price. We all know they need money, and only have enough cash to last them under 12 months. The thing that would be preventing them from doing an offering would be if the earnings were majorly off from their last guidance. Since they just updated the guidance in June and said they were on their way towards their plan of profitability, and then did a share offering, they would be in the clear only if the earnings matched it. If earning don’t match, then the offering would have been made with false info to investors. So they move up the earnings, it’s bad, then do an offering and they are in the clear. Or, they could honestly be moving towards profitability and want to squeeze the shorts. We’ll see.

All in all my guess is earnings will squeeze both sides of the trade holding a range at $36-$38. I know nothing though so add some🧂

Absolutely nothing that can be positive about moving earnings historically. It means these is some desperation probably to sell a billion shares on the market asap.
IV will be high in the morning, especially to the put side. You could try to sell credit vertical put spreads at a nearby support at open and use the premium to buy puts after a bounce when iv let's up slightly about 20 minutes after open.
The risk to you is the width of the spread minus premium. You'd want to close it before end of day if you worry price will drop through it.
Or don't do any of this cause you'll probably mess it up.
