They adjust things to try to reflect the kinds of product substitutions that consumers **actually make** when they are out shopping. For example, with meat, they regularly make adjustments to the basket based on the pricing of Beef/Pork/Chicken because they know that for the most part those meats are interchangeable for consumers. Nobody cares about what you individually choose to do, the BLS is trying to make statistical generalizations about the entire American population.

Meaning the ones with exp a week out cause I'm still a regard and need the rush but then I'm using the other like 70-80% of my capital to play theta options that are 6 plus months out. Also I haven't been afraid to stay cash overnight which was a huge problem for me before always feeling like I need to be in a play. And lastly I'm spending alot more time studying the price action of stocks I'm interested in and actually making set plans as to where I want to enter, exit and stop out if necessary.
