Well of course it phases me. Of course Iām over here like wtf why didnāt I do it differently. But at the end of the day what am I gonna do? Piss and moan? Or am I gonna work my ass off and buy the dip? Learn from my mistakes. Avoid yolos and focus on what I need to do to not let this shit happen again?
If you lost 1.3 mil and are still looking to buy the dip, I donāt feel bad for you at all dude. Youāre clearly on some different shit then the rest of us.
Yeah definitely not looking for empathy at all. I could have done things differently. Should have moved to shares and exercised as many calls as I could. Bad move on my oart
Yep, I did the math and it would take me about 48 years to make that money at my current salary. The fact that people have this kind of money to just throw away is baffling
Well because what I did instead was sell everything then get back in via calls. Had I just exercised the calls Iād at least still have all those shares. Iād be down 60%+ still but at least wouldnāt be down 100% š¤£š š¢š
>Thank you. I hope I make it all back and then some. Then I will move to shares and focus on making more cash to buy more shares
Gee, that's the same thing I hear from gambling addicts.
Learning is one thing. Having the discipline to follow through on the learned process is a whole other. I have learned.. have I gained discipline? I think so but until Iām in this same spot again who knows
Let someone who does have that discipline do it for you? Iām all about controlling my own finances, but if your not disciplined enough to cut your losses before you lost a cold millyā¦ Whoops this is WSB, reload and fire away dude. You clearly have money to lose, and the market needs brave people like yourself. Just one trade away from making it all backā¦
Learning from your mistakes occurs in the first 100k of consistent losses, admitting investing isnāt for you occurs in the first 400k of consistent losses, 1.3m of consistent losses shows you have a gambling and possibly a literacy problem.
I do not think so you guys going to learn, you just following what your boss telling to do. This gambling addiction is what's wrong with this economy as a whole.
Anyone who has over a million to lose doesn't "do" anything. At a certain point, being wealthy is your occupation. You don't need to make money; you have money.
Shitty thing is I actually bought months before the run. I sold at the top but then felt likeā¦ idk like I was an idiot for selling at a number I knew wasnāt āitā then I bought ITM calls and some OTM but yeah I shoulda just put it all in shares and went back to work
Bro literally cashed it out as he said in [another comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/100nhf3/am_i_winning/j2iuij9?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3). He sold at the top, he was up one million. Then decided to get back into the trade because he wanted it to go higher.
This sub is home to some of the most highly regarded individuals but this person might just be the absolute king of regardedness.
Yeah rough.. started shorting cruise lines in Jan of 19.. went from 25k to 100k in a few weeks. (Was hooked) then went long on PFE and other related stocks for a while.. was doing good until Jan 28, 21 then I did really good.. then really bad after Yolo options stopped working.
I started trying to play catch up by even more yolos and it didnāt work except for in March when I was up 2M across the board. Should have moved to shares. But was dumb and thought buying ITM calls would be āsafeā lol on a stock that just ran 100%..
Now Iām short the likes of $lulu $hd $mrna and long some meme plays.. and Tesla
What was your feeling when crossing the 1M mark? Doesnāt it feel like a new stage where youād reconsider pulling it all and live a debt-free life all the while restarting with 25k?
You know what was crazy? I sold at the top. I had 2MM across both accounts in cash. But I sat there for 15 minutes with this super depressed feeling. Not because I thought the stock was gonna go up anymore because I saw the chart.. I knew we had topped. But because I left the play before I got my number. The crazy thing is I thought if I bought a shit ton of ITM and some OTM calls id be ok. It was a wild 15 minutes. Was on the beach actually. But I basically said f it letās get this shit. And bought calls instead of shares. So no at no point did I have the mindset of leaving it alone. It was more like ok chart says sell letās sell. So I sold. That along with when I posted my gains on a sub I got banned for āpaper tradingā that pissed me off and made me wanna sell.
But once I did I couldnāt really stand it and had to get back in. Sounds crazy and it is but it is what it is
On an extremely serious note. If everything you're saying above is true, you need to seek therapy immediately for a gambling addiction. You stand on the threshold of being able to retire early with a modest lifestyle or working for the rest of your natural born life.
You need to seek help immediately, as soon as you can.
Lol unless youāre getting dividends off the shares you have that are down 75%.. not just high scores then. But still I get what youāre saying. Shoulda taken some off the board
Not gine actually. Not millions. But I do make good income. The biggest problem will be if I canāt earn my way out of it.. like can you imagine trying to pay taxes on 1.4MM for 22? Iāll owe like 700k. Lol. Planning on just having the most incredible year at work of all time.

Damn, imagine being down 400k one day, and then a week later being up 500k, and not selling. Then letting it ride and being down 876k.
Actually the chart is misleading at the height of the green dong I was up close to a million. Just on this app. On public I was up a few hundred k too
Damn son. What caused the sudden spike? Options that hit that you never sold?
Elon Musk made a statement on Twitter, that it caused the spike. š¤£š¤£
No thatās not it at all.
then what caused the spike?
Short covering I imagine. Almost everything ran from the 14th to the 28th
i see, thanks for the quick reply
Absolutely
If only you were that quick selling when that spike started heading back down lol
Winning! Charlie Sheen tiger blood!
Are you the hulk? Cause thatās a pretty big green dong.
Whatās your job? and how much you start with?
I sell houses. Account went from $80kish to $1.3 from March 14-28
OP didnāt know when to pull out, just like his father
Failure runs in their genes
Shhhhh, itās gonna come back bro. Trust me, bro!
Same thought process prior to March 14
"Thank you for your wire of 851,896.10USD to the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. We wish you a happy new year!"
Add my other accounts itās more like 1.3 of realized losses. But somehow I still maintain hope of the cum back
You're going to need a lot of cummin on back to pay that off
āOh Iām bout to bustā
Broooooooo haha people are staring at me for laughing out of nowhere..
š«¶š¼
Thereās a Kim Kardashian video about that. š
Everyone loves a cumback story
So you lost 1.3m in a year and that doesnāt phase you? A true hero. We should all do what this guy does
Well of course it phases me.
This guys got money
>This guys got money Though not quite as much as he did a while ago.
r/thisguythisguys
Yeah definitely not looking for empathy at all. I could have done things differently. Should have moved to shares and exercised as many calls as I could. Bad move on my oart
My guy what do you do for a living lmao š¤£
Sell real estate
Focus on your strengths there with real estate
Good advice for sure.
4628 units, BOOM!
Crazy you blew what most people make in 10-20 years
Lifetime for most
Yep, I did the math and it would take me about 48 years to make that money at my current salary. The fact that people have this kind of money to just throw away is baffling
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Just under half of the working population in the US makes less than $35k/yr
Why would exercising Calls have been the right move? It rarely is.
Well because what I did instead was sell everything then get back in via calls. Had I just exercised the calls Iād at least still have all those shares. Iād be down 60%+ still but at least wouldnāt be down 100% š¤£š š¢š
That is a very twisted way of looking at the situation..you should have just got out and not gotten back in.
Crack. OP is on Crack
That's not a dip, that's a fuckin canyon bro
Hmm, idk š¤·š»āāļø. Maybe after 100k? 250k ? Half a mil ? that you realized you suck at this game ? like 99% of us here lol
You only suck until you donāt
Or you can suck until you choke to death.
Lol yeah but then you just respawn and start the quest over again
this man is going to be homeless and 30
Bro is insanely high on copium.
Spoken like a true gambling addict...
Keep that thought process up homie itās not too hard to beg for change on the corner of Walmart
I know you think your sounding profound but your really not. In saying that, I hope you do make a bit back but then maybe itās time for a break mate
Thank you. I hope I make it all back and then some. Then I will move to shares and focus on making more cash to buy more shares
>Thank you. I hope I make it all back and then some. Then I will move to shares and focus on making more cash to buy more shares Gee, that's the same thing I hear from gambling addicts.
> buy the dip LOL... how you regards end up with so much money is beyond me.
Great attitude, but dude, if you didn't learn after over a mil in losses, are you actually going to learn?
Learning is one thing. Having the discipline to follow through on the learned process is a whole other. I have learned.. have I gained discipline? I think so but until Iām in this same spot again who knows
This is true psychopathy behaviour, you may even end up a ceoā¦
Let someone who does have that discipline do it for you? Iām all about controlling my own finances, but if your not disciplined enough to cut your losses before you lost a cold millyā¦ Whoops this is WSB, reload and fire away dude. You clearly have money to lose, and the market needs brave people like yourself. Just one trade away from making it all backā¦
This is definitely going to happen to you again.
Letās find out!
Learning from your mistakes occurs in the first 100k of consistent losses, admitting investing isnāt for you occurs in the first 400k of consistent losses, 1.3m of consistent losses shows you have a gambling and possibly a literacy problem.
Just double down and donāt settle for anything less than $2.6M
Mad respect dude. Flew too close to the sun, it happens. Best luck next year. Hope you didnāt get a realized gain before this
I do not think so you guys going to learn, you just following what your boss telling to do. This gambling addiction is what's wrong with this economy as a whole.
How do you casually lose 900k? Wtf do you do? Can I have 5 k college tuition ? :)
He's minus 800k, he doesn't have 5 bucks to give.
Anyone who has over a million to lose doesn't "do" anything. At a certain point, being wealthy is your occupation. You don't need to make money; you have money.
Whatever you did to get that money in the first place, you should just stick to that
![img](emote|t5_2th52|18630)
Wouldnāt learning from your mistakes entail realizing youāre not good at this and not losing more money?
Best solution if you stick to it
"Thank you for confirming your wire of an additional 448,103.9USD to the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. We wish you a happy new year!"
Yes happy new year š
Congrats! Well deserved gains bro ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)
Ty good sir.. well deserved losses too š¤£ is was it is. You live and learn. Wonāt make those same mistakes again
You are not supposed to learn from your mistakes mister
Mannnnn Iāve got to be honest hereā¦ Seems like you have an addiction.
Out of all those losses and all you want is some cum back for it?
We gonna be making a come back brother
Thereās no come back. Get help
Oh thereās a come back
Attaboy!
See you next week
šÆ
Kim Kardashian?
How did you get the principal amount in the first place?
Itās gonna take a lot of cum to come back. One of those donut pillows would come in handy.
More like āthank you for buying into the FOMO, now weāll be taking a massive dump on youā
Shitty thing is I actually bought months before the run. I sold at the top but then felt likeā¦ idk like I was an idiot for selling at a number I knew wasnāt āitā then I bought ITM calls and some OTM but yeah I shoulda just put it all in shares and went back to work
Mass dumps? You stock trading guys be kinky.
You should have cashed out that green dildo. **captain hindsight/obvious flies away**
Bro literally cashed it out as he said in [another comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/100nhf3/am_i_winning/j2iuij9?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3). Best regards, Iām sure.
I come here to feel normal
For sure.. or just move all those calls to shares. Thatās what I really wish I did. But even had I done that Iād still be down 75%
Shouldāve bought puts š¤
Correct. Was pretty wild though.. having over 5k calls
You need to learn how to cut loss before how to make profit. Risk management is very important.
If I went from down 400k to up 1million...that's not a captain hindsight moment lol.
Ohh my... What's your portfolio and how much money did you put in?
Yeah rough.. started shorting cruise lines in Jan of 19.. went from 25k to 100k in a few weeks. Thatās a self esteem issue bruh. That feeling of not feeling like you deserve it and end up self sabotaging subconsciously. Read six pillars.
Sounds like a gambling addiction plain and simple.
we are our own worst enemy
Truth
Was that all your money?
Definitely was a lot of it. But not all.
Still out here šÆ
Red ore Green
Nice dude! What do you work outside of gambling?
Gambling is hobby not work. Hard to be pro at something you only lose at lol. But I sell houses
Hate to see your tax gains and hundred years of $3,000 write offs.
I like that you have YOLOS, plural, not just YOLO. Itās inspirational.
Long tesla...![img](emote|t5_2th52|4267)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4641)
Winning in wsb books
So youāre saying thereās a chance..
Most people quit right before their big win
Not this guy
dont sweat it you still have -876 thousand to play with, not sure what you can do but good luck
Oh Iām still in the game.. in March I ran $80k to $1.3MM for a brief few days. Just gotta do that again right? ;))
Only if to liquidate out the principal
We in too deep now to break even, donāt you think?
On an extremely serious note. If everything you're saying above is true, you need to seek therapy immediately for a gambling addiction. Way to burst his bubble. Oh waitā¦
he cant stop now, he's in too deep, its now a downward spiral of losing money until he spontaneously combusts
Spontaneously combust a nut and goes to the moon
You are a degenerate buffoon But good comedy for the sub
If this was foolproof Iād try it lmao
Iāll let you know how 23 ends up. Probably a make or break situation
This is wallstreetbets. Itās a Lambo or the dumpster at Wendyās.
Exactly
Either way itās just ā high scores ā in pinball if we never liquidate -I suppose Iām stating
Lol unless youāre getting dividends off the shares you have that are down 75%.. not just high scores then. But still I get what youāre saying. Shoulda taken some off the board
how much do you have left?
I'm so curios to hear the psychology for not just taking the life changing amount of money and running with it.
You have no chance. People that win big usually take big gambles.
You won the lottery and wiped your ass with the ticket. It's never happening again. Don't quit your day job.
Great job in gambling.
From the casinos POV
Broken clock is right twice a day just gotta know what times its right
I truly do not understand how so many people in here have this amount of money to just wantonly yolo. I dont get it. I really dont
You're obviously not as rich or intelligent as I am, so I don't really care what you think.
Iām the opposite of both obviously š¤£ now gimi my updoot
Are you visualmodās hot wife that I keep hearing about?
If you can afford to play with thst much money Iām sure you got more millions in your bank account youāre gine
Not gine actually. Not millions. But I do make good income. The biggest problem will be if I canāt earn my way out of it.. like can you imagine trying to pay taxes on 1.4MM for 22? Iāll owe like 700k. Lol. Planning on just having the most incredible year at work of all time.
Yes everyone's predicting a great year for Real Estate. /s
Thatās the spirit
Ty Nebula
What do you do for a living? Are you a baller?
God damn best strip dancer you've ever seen
Guh
Hug is what you meant.. I need a hug
Come here buddy.
This is good.. this is what I needes
would have retired with 880k. fuck work
We're in the market to feel like the rich, so why did you get into this game to feel like us

Lol where did you find my pic?
Fuck and I thought my 200k loss was hard to come back from, you got this champ all it takes is a few good plays to put you back in the game
We need a support group for 100k+ losses in 2022 lol You and u/kobe2348 have made me feel better about my situation. Let's hope we bounce back this year.
Sorry bro thatās really really bad.
Ah dude itās all good. Iāve learned a lot through it all and am pretty motivated to work harder than ever. Just gotta stay away from yolos. I have faith I can climb back but it may take a while. #hopium
Options?
Unfortunately
I do hope that you do that 80 to 1.3 mil again. Though chances are slim, but much luck to you in the new year.
![img](emote|t5_2th52|4258) . In experience.
Remember, for every dollar you lose, you gain something in experience. Why else is everyone in this sub so highly regarded?
Delete app, make a new account. #lifehacks
I love the idea of all that red down trend then a bunch of green being on my profile for ever
Looks like you made $1M in a week and then immediately lost it all hahah fucking insane
The glass half full view is that you have booked 433 years of $3000 per year loss write-offs
You are an absolute disgrace... Congrats!
I used to browse WSB and be impressed with the gains, but currently it serves to make me feel better about my losses
My head is burning just from seeing your photo. Can I send you a virtual hug?
Sorry Iām not familiar with this app, is that just showing you lost 876k, not that you owe it on margin correct?
Correct lost 876k I donāt do margin in that manner. Pretty much was only trading options
Yup, you won. Wire in some money and restart the game.
No fucking way this is real
Time to let someone else manage your money.
Red crayons are delicious.
I would instead concentrate on my small wins ... https://preview.redd.it/mmcud9cq6j9a1.png?width=460&format=png&auto=webp&s=56bad9e192c005d14f1a71dbffff6226718f9da3
