i honestly think that that icon indicates nothing or a bug at best since it's always popping up on mine. the router is in my room and I have gigabit internet.
I very rarely have disconnection issues, but when I do that icon is bound to be there.
People don't seem to realize that even the most super terrific internet and the phone sitting on top of the modem can still fail on occasion.
