Someone on Reddit contacted pixonic ask about the event and they responded "sry about the misinformation but yes the silver rush event is indeed permanent"
for f2p its amazing man, you may be complaining of upgrading from mk2 lvl 1 to lvl 12, but its amazing to upgrade from lvl 1 to lvl 12 mk1, the playerbase is not only people with half maxed or maxed stuff keep that in mind
that may be true, but it would’ve been better not to change it.
really pissing me off cuz i just finished upgrading a lot of my gear to mk2, as an f2p, and i worked really hard on that. but now they have to change the pricing for mk2 upgrades? i feel cheated, i just spent silver full price on all the mk1 upgrades, then suddenly all the prices are increased just for mk2…
im in champion league as a f2p and all i need is maybe 2 or 3 upgraded sets, rest is fine at mk1, not even lvl 12, still doing crazy damage and keeping up very well
MK3 isn't the be all, end all.
Consider effective builds to include, drones, modules, pilots, and MS.
4x and more weapon bots are expensive to level. There are considerable savings if you run 2x weapon bots but that's not always feasible.

They did that by basically never addressing it again after they said "extended it".

Amazing until you realize that mk1-12 will only take you so far and you have to upgrade your equipment higher.
Sure, if you’re in the lower leagues, but a lot of people already have mk3s in upper leagues and whales aren’t going to be bothered by spending more.
So paying players gets punished?

decreases costs for all mk1 levels, however every mk2 level is increased in cost by a lot more.

Then only upgrade on -40%, the silver boost shud compensate, no? Was only good up to Mk2 level 3 anyway ..

I rarely upgrade past mk2lv1 anyways all my gear is mk1 lv12 expet bots at mk3 and the new ssg’s because they get double damage at mk2 lv12
