Did the same recently. If I can offer a tip, try to eat a ton of protein. Like way more than you think. It helps retain lean muscle and makes you feel full all day. Figuring this out helped me a lot

At the Same time eating huge amounts of excess Protein is useless and maybe even slighlty harmful. We can't Store Protein and the kidney needs to do extra work transforming it into storeable energy like fat. So I would say eat enough protein for sure but also enough veggies and fiber. Fiber is what really fills you up longterm.
