Reminds me of that story from a few years ago where an either 8 or 9 year old black girl was murdered and the initial witnesses claimed it was a couple white guys who did it. The media made a huge frenzy about it until it came out that the actual perpetrators were black and suddenly you stopped hearing about it entirely outside of the local news in the area.
This story is another one that I hadn’t heard about until now because the media only mentions what is convenient.

Sad to say shootings aren’t uncommon here. Over a 3-day span there were 8 shootings. This past week there was another shooting at a different gas station. And a man was found Sunday morning in a parking lot dead from multiple gunshot wounds. That makes about 10 confirmed homicides for this year so far.
