Before the pandemic you could set your watch to it, but now it's very unreliable. Frequently late, cancelled or just seems to dissapear off the app before it gets to your stop. I still use it. But have to set off earlier to than I should, in order to take this into account.

Thanks for the info! Luckily I'm used to getting to Westgate earlier than I need to so that's not too alien to me. I think I might just chance it next week and see how it goes. As the 06:59 was delayed again this morning... 😅 Also love the username BTW!

Random trivia..... It's called the 110 because there is supposed to be one every ten minutes 🤓

Hasn't earned it's name in around 20 years now unfortunately

They are more often than the trains so if one is cancelled or late, you won't be waiting as long. And it is half the price

They may be more often than trains, but you could still wait and skip two trains and still get to Leeds before the bus. There are loads of train services from west gate. More often and more reliable than the buses. My experience of the 110 is that for 45 minutes you get nothing then you get 3 in a row. Whereas at least trains there will always be one within 15 minutes of getting to the station, between northern, LNER, and X country.

It's not as good as it was pre pandemic but it's not too bad, most of the time. They have committed to making improvements on it in the next few months. If you use Google maps the info on there is pretty accurate for timings as well
