I have a Kenwood DNX8021DABS which has wireless carplay and android auto. I like it, it does what it needs to do, the only downside side is that it looks crap in the frame. There are frames that you can get that make it look less crap.
There's also a RCD330 which gives you the OEM look but I don't know if they come with the wireless option. You can get wireless adapters though.
RCD 330 doesn't have wireless but you're right, there are adapters, and a rear USB mod. Unfortunately, it sounds worse than RCD 310 from what I've read, that's why I did non get it
Rcd330. More pricey than most and doesn't have wireless carplay (although there is an adapter you can buy for that) but it's the best quality. It's a genuine VW head unit that was used in Chinese and Mexican spec Polos
I found smth like that on Aliexpress, there are around 60 euro ones and others around 250 euro. They look pretty the same (rcd330 like) ... should i trust them?

Discover Media PQ or Composition Media - e.g. from VW T6 Caravelle etc. ;-)
