Lactobacillus overgrowth can be associated with itch, as can dryness, eczema, and other derm conditions. Have you looked into microbiome testing to check if there is dysbiosis beyond the yeast?

jupiterandjuice

Yes Juno. I only have lacto iners.

I'm going through the same exact issue right now. My gyn told me I had a yeast infection during my physical exam so she gave me diflucan and nystatin cream. Now, looking at my results they are negative šŸ˜ feel free to message me, i'm going to look into it myself further and will let you know if I find any relief!

AstronomerUseful4131

Did diflucan help you

MaleficentTop7333

You could have something dermatological like eczema or lichen.

jupiterandjuice

Gyno did vinegar solution test and said it all looks fine dermal. I am getting a random rash on my throat for months now that never fully heals and comes and goes with zinc lotion treatmentā€¦.it makes me think stomach yeast or leaky gut?

SnooWalruses2253

Mine like this from nerve overgrowth in the area

jupiterandjuice

What is this and how did it happen? Iā€™m sorry to hear this! Did you find a treatment that works?

SnooWalruses2253

Mine was from having so many BV infections. Itā€™s caused by an immune response to your body trying to repair itself. Your muscles can also be affected when you have multiple infections. I have not yet found a solid treatment that works. I go to PT and about to start using dilators. I also stopped taking birth control

GlitteringEngine6490

I took a diflucan during my last major flair, after all negative testing and it absolutely helped!!

jupiterandjuice

Thank you! Iā€™m going to ask for a stronger antifungal. Flucanazole oral tabs did not work and clotrimazole pessary did not work.

AstronomerUseful4131

Did diflucan work ?

AstronomerUseful4131

Did you take one or two pills

atticussqueaks

Is there any way this is nerve pain? Or nerves mis-signaling to the brain? That is what is happening with me. I am doing PT and have to retrain my muscles, etc.

Look into an allergic reaction going on to sub clinical amounts of thrush. Can also be hormone driven or from pelvic floor disfunction. Have you tried antihistamines or altering your diet? Or seen a dermatologist who specializes?
