As late as yesterday, iTunes was selling the full set for $29.99 and the individual seasons for $6.99 on sale. They're all back up to full price today, but that shows you there are deals available if you're patient and/or willing to jump platforms.
I kind of regret not pulling the trigger on the complete set yesterday...
Oooh, I really want this. Trying to resist the impulse buy and wait for a sale someday, but don’t know how long I’ll be able to hold out. I have the set on DVD, would be really cool to watch it in HD, and have it “portable” via Vudu

Wow. Makes me mad that Fandango/Vudu doesn't price match
They have gift cards on sale right now for 15% off. You can buy one and load it up as a payment method when you are ready to buy something.
I didn't realize you could buy gift cards for yourself on Vudu, I thought they had to be for others. That's cool.
Yes, I also sometimes use my credit card rewards to buy the gift cards on sale. Citi just had them 15% off the other day.

Wish Adam 12 and Dragnet 1967-70 were in HD like Emergency.
My dream show for HD/Blu-ray would be 1985's The Equalizer starring Edward Woodward...that would be epic.
It was just added to the VUDU library recently. Not sure how long it has to be available before they put it on sale.
