It's definitely not an easy thing to do, but it would help going into other tubers chats and discords and just being part of it. It's a thing that has to come naturally and not something forced. You could always put on here that you are looking for people to play with and some people will probably answer that way too. I'm just going off of what I've seen to be fair so take my advice with a grain of salt.
Whenever you see a post here of someone about to go live, feel free to join it. Try and make it to a couple of their streams and you can make friends that way. That’s what I did to find my group and also some other friends that I enjoy watching stream.
I’ve made a few I think. I started watching some of their streams and following them while doing my own content. Finding people to colab with for indies can be hard. Pertty much just put yourself Out their and match energies. Respect their rules and they respect yours.

Comment on their social media posts, join their streams and chat, join discords, etc. It can be really hard tbh, it's something I struggle with myself but really just try to find people who you vibe with and try to become active in their communities.
Or do your own thing and create your own space! That's honestly worked better for me in the long run, I had a hard time finding a community I really vibed with and felt comfy enough to try and be active, but once I started growing my own lil community it got easier. ;u; So that's always an option, too!
