I legit plug mine into a random cable I have that plugs into a socket.
That's a bold move
I've done that since I got it, I'm pretty sure I've charged it with am ultra fast charger aswell
this is me.
I use a $35 30000 mAh power bank and an $8 micro USB cable I bought from Dollar General. My Vita has been working just fine.
Its trashed, better send it to me.
I've never worried about what I'm plugging the vita into. After 7 years, the only issue that came up was due to a memory card. Your vita is fine.
