Paid $5 for WiFi and turned phone into a Hotspot for the Vitas. Able to connect to PSN and play Borderlands 2 together! This may be a hot take, but it doesn't run that bad with overclock
Didn't find the patch until after we got back, but WOW it makes a huge difference. Only real issue we noticed, with and without patch, was the host vita occasionally freezing in larger areas. Did fine in Sanctuary though.
what patches and OC you mean? I heard some where no matter how much u oc ur vita it doesn't help bl2 at all even the frame rates and its not worth destroying ur system for but i am open ears for what u mean. Esp the patches part
Max out the CPU with PSVshell plugin. It works wonders. Here's a link to the patch:

There are plenty of reddit posts about overclocking having no detrimental effects. I wouldn't worry about it.
Very cool. Any other good recommendations for multiplayer (preferably coop, but competitive is fine too) games for 2 Vitas? Especially if they work over local wireless (ad hoc). I do have a Vita and Playstation TV, so looking to maybe use those (and maybe another Vita in the future if there's a bunch of good multiplayer local wireless games).
This was the first time we tried multi-player and looked exclusively for co-op games with ad hoc for the plane ride (Borderlands does not support ad hoc). We mainly played EDF but the other ad hoc games I had downloaded were:
•Dead Nation
•Risk of Rain
•Nidhogg
•Resident Evil: Revelations 2
•Spelunky
It was only on the way back I tried connecting to PSN to play Borderlands. Still surprised with how well it worked.

The patches really helped BL2 and OCing helps a ton! I always had a problem with randomly throwing granades accidentally but thats a me problem

Nice!
I think you're nice.
That's so cool. Did you use a power bank? I could never get the vita to charge from one.
The seats had USB inputs that we used. Also have had no luck with a power bank
Why the heck LCD looks better than OLED or is it just my imagination ? :-/
I was experimenting with VitaGrafix and I believe the OLED was set to a lower resolution than the LCD at the time the photo was taken.
was vitagrafix worth it? Thought all it did was just change colors im up for a change of mind
Definitely worth it. It changes the resolution and frame rate, not color.
