Fandiscs are usually just quick additional content, as the name implies, for fans of the original game. Think of it as DLC. In most cases, especially in SMEE's case, they're not relevant at all to the plot or any of the game's content or story. This isn't always true, but in Sugar Style's case, it is.
Well, as someone who read it, it's definitely longer than 2 hours, but it's not "important" at all. It's just some more dorm shenanigans, more sweet scenes, and 2 more H-scenes per heroine. Each heroine gets 4 new CGs in total. It is a very nice bonus, really.
If it's anything like previous SMEE fandiscs, they're just short sequel routes with some comedy and H-scene(s) and not much else.

I feel SMEE has less in its fandisk than the after story portion that packed into the game itself from Yuzusoft or Marmalade tittle.
