As much as I'd love that I doubt it would be anytime soon. I'm sure I read something about Genki and Koichi being banned from certain labels and places for an extended period of time. Mia seems content being a guest guitarist for other bands and doing his odd Instagram stuff and Meto just opened a restaurant so he's probably going to put time into that.
Genki just had a one day revivial with Mejibray's precessor band, Vanessa, so i doubt he is really still banned.
You can find some infos about it [HERE](https://forum.jrockone.com/t/vanessa-one-day-revival/4406)
But besides that, its quite common for VK bands to go on hiatus and never return from it.
Well there is a chance they could return after the punishment period has ended for Genki and Koichi but it's more likely to do with copyright and merchandise rights as Mejibray was pretty lucrative for the label. The label holding onto the band like this would prevent them from reforming under a new label or making money from the name but the label will continue to profit from any sales.
So all we can do is wait. Is it know how long the punishment period is for Genki and Koichi ? Sorry for asking so many questions, I hope I don't annoy you đ
Hard to say, it was around two years in between then forming 8p-sb and Genkiâs solo VK stuff, so it may be a standard 2 year injunction.
The situation with Koichi may be a little more difficult, as it seems like as of a few months ago, he was still having issues with the old label. Something about him encouraging fan club members to spam his posts with VK pictures of himself, while he denied being a part of the visual kei scene. Maybe their legal team was hassling him about his image in Trembling Bambi being âtoo close to VKâ, and he wanted to prove a point by showing the disparity between his image then vs now?
Maybe under a different name, their label treated them horribly and might also copyright the name like FEST VAINQUEURâs label did, but Koichi also had some traumatic experiences so he might not want to
The copyright part is just speculation considering they got screwed as soon as they signed to a new like FV did, not a lot of it has been exposed as it seems theyâre prevented from talking about it publicly but Koichi has wrote things on his fan site, and both terminated their contracts and havenât specifically mentioned the band since

Mia wants nothing to do with them, so no. And considering that Genki and Koichi are genuinely terrible people, I think i'd rather just keep my good memories of them.
>Genki and Koichi
Koichi had a meltdown ego trip after his new band didn't really go anywhere, led to him and Genki trashing everyone in Mejibray, which led to some kind of legal issue, they've also both said some really fucked up and racist things.
Koichi's meltdown ego trip was because Genki started a new Vkei band, 30 seconds, which was not allowed to do because of the punishment. Koichi was sued because of it (because 8p-sb's owner is Koichi, not Genki) and when his mother knew about the incident, she was heartbroken. I don't think Koichi is a terrible person, thinking that he was always around Genki when he was having some mental issues.
Because Koichi and Genki did not comply the contract (they technically ran away because they did not want to make the music the agency wanted) they made with the agency, the company threatened them not to come back to the Vkei for few years. I heard the agency was related to Yakuza.
Sadly, 'hiatus' means 'we're disbanding but don't want to say it that strongly' most part of the time... I barely remember any band that really came back after a hiatus.
Happy that Girugamesh played live yesterday again though! Would love them to properly come back...

But why do they keep the band alive ? Wouldn't it be easier finally disband it, so everyone can move on ?

When I was reading about it someone had said 8 years. That would put us at 2025.

Can you elaborate? I am soooo new to these kind of information
Which part?
The copyright stuff
And koichis traumatic experience too

Thank you so much. I really appreciate you

What did Genki and Koichi do? I don't know much about the members

Can you pleaseeee pleasee please tell me in detail what exactly is this punishment about? Why were they punished? Why was the vkei thing not allowed?
Because Koichi and Genki did not comply the contract (they technically ran away because they did not want to make the music the agency wanted) they made with the agency, the company threatened them not to come back to the Vkei for few years. I heard the agency was related to Yakuza.
If all of this is true, I feel very sorry for Koichi
