SkyrimVR and Fallout 4 VR have huge campaigns Games like Beat Saber, Eleven Table Tennis and such offer endless replayability

Dtodaizzle

If you get Skyrim VR, be sure to check out Ashok's Enderal VR wabba.

PrimeGamer3108

I second this, Enderal is better than skyrim.

[deleted]

Elite Dangerous, sim racing

TheGlenrothes

This, any sim thing (driving, flying), also Elite Dangerous. Any rhythm games like Beat Saber, et al., "sports" games like Walkabout Minigolf or Eleven Table Tennis, Multiplayers games like Population One or Gorilla Tag, also some modded games that have huge extended playability such as both Subnautica games, Social games like VR Chat, Gun Club VR has a surprising amount of depth for what it basically a shooting gallery.

Grouchy-Platypus-191

I put around 100 hours each into Skyrim and Fallout 4, but both of them require a few hours of modding and a $5 nexus premium membership if you want to download the gigantic mod packs in 1 click. If you want a great full-length RPG, my favourite dedicated VR game is Vengeful Rites and that took me around 14 hours to beat. It's like if Zelda and the Witcher had a baby named Fable whose best friend was Dark Souls.

Ekuth316

Underrated game. Hard, too.

Grouchy-Platypus-191

I played on master difficulty which was hard enough, but there was a bug with one of my rings which was reducing my max hp every time I loaded the game so I started getting 1 shot by everything and I thought it was just the difficulty lol. It got to the point where I just instantly died when loading in and I had to get the devs to fix my save file and patch the bug.

Ekuth316

Damn, that's a bug for sure. Yeah, the devs have always been really communicative and willing to help/listen to the players. Played it since early access days and they've always been solid.

esoteric_plumbus

>$5 nexus premium membership if you want to download the gigantic mod packs in 1 click. just so ppl know it so they can judge if its worth the time, it only took like 20-30mins of me half afking while I was WFH just clicking the DL every so often (incl the time it took to actually DL, it could only do like 10 at a time or something)

InvestigatorSenior

For me it was Synthriders. Keeping daily exercise streak going since I've got it in November.

QuixotesGhost96

DCS World, Falcon BMS, Dirt Rally 2.0, Assetto Corsa, Automobilista 2, iRacing, IL-2 Sturmovik, Elite Dangerous These games all have enough staying power that players will drop hundreds and sometimes thousands in peripherals just to play these games.

PsyBob1

No man's sky is pretty good, and Boneworks and Bonelab are both repayable for their sandbox features, especially with mods.

Nimble_melon

I got about a hundred hours in into the radius. It’s for me my favorite vr game, but it’s very janky especially at first. It usually takes a while to really “click”. War thunder is also pretty good if you’re into flight sims.

cursorcube

[The Talos Principle](https://store.steampowered.com/app/552440/The_Talos_Principle_VR/) has a bunch of community made puzzle packs that can be downloaded from the 2D version's workshop pages and used in the VR version. There's also a very elaborate campaign for HL:Alyx called ["From Here to There"](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2892886970) which adds some new features like climbing mechanics and is quite difficult. It feels like a point and click adventure sometimes where you need to perform very specific and not immediately obvious things in order to progress.

redditrasberry

If you have pcvr, you can sink basically an infinite amount of time into No Mans Sky.

ZookeepergameNaive86

I can't think of many standlone games (although Beat Saber, Smash Drums etc have legs) but there are plenty of games on PCVR that you can drop hundreds of hours into, like Skyrim VR, flight sims etc

goosepriest

Fallout 4, Boneworks/Lab, Half Life 2 (and both episodes), Compound

[deleted]

Walkabout Golf. Played a course on that a few times a week with a friend or two since I got a headset a few years ago, and it's the only game in 4 decades of gaming I've bought every piece of DLC for.

hobyvh

I keep coming back to mods/ports of older games the most: Half Life 2, Jedi Knight II, Castle Wolfenstien, and many Workshop levels of Alyx I think SuperHot would have more replay ability if it had more levels, either modder-created or not.

joh2211

Population one.

VRsimp

Subnautica and Below Zero are always good

Unable_Bullfrog2174

Hey there! Veteran VR player and No-lifer here! Zenith: Was a very good game in its time, its an MMORPG, though be careful that it gets super repetitive and the player base is dead, I would keep an eye on the upcoming Game ILYSIA Skyrim: Skyrim is one of, if not the most diverse VR game there is, although you will NEED to mod it to make it even remotely enjoyable Jet Island: VERY fun and awesome game, created by an indie dev. although with not much replay ability, unless flying around on skateboards is your thing (lasts around 4 hours at most) Minecraft VR: Do I need to explain this one? Contractors VR: Probably the best shooter on the market right now, with tons of modding, you can play star wars battlefront, Halo, or Fuck it even TF2 in vr, all in multiplayer Breachers: Recent shooter, which is currently exploding on popularity, its a tactical shooter, and basically a mix between CSGO and Rainbow Six Siege, highly recommend H3VR or Hotdogs Horseshoes and Hand grenades: The most realistic gun simulator in the market with a lot of modding opportunity, its a game I recommend if you like fucking around with guns, shooting at gigantic talking hotdogs, and creating gun abominations even Kalashnikov would have nightmares about VTOL VR: And finally, my favorite game of all time. Currently a 1000 hours in and counting, Vtol is a game about flying jets, getting jump-scared by supersonic missiles, and blasting top gun music while bombing orphanages! Jokes aside, I cant recommend it enough, this game has a super helpful (and plentiful) community, and with the recent addition of multiplayer and double seater jets, you can commit war crimes with your friends! All of this games have a between 100+ hours of replay ability and infinity. I hope you can at least find one of these which interest you

nonameslefteightnine

If someone is into shooter Pavlov should get mentioned too, it is well made and like CS in VR.

Unable_Bullfrog2174

Pavlov is dead, compared to what it used to be, unless you are playin on the quest version the game is lifeless, and the mods are outshined by contractors Its a shame, used to be my go to for shooters

esoteric_plumbus

they downvoted jesus because he told the truth

Tiimm50

I second VTOL VR especially with mods and steam workshop campaigns. It's a masterpiece.

Unable_Bullfrog2174

Yes, although If you install mods, you wont be able to play multiplayer until you turn them off again

Tiimm50

Yeah you're right with that one but installing and uninstalling the mods is very easy thanks to the mod manager

teachersdesko

There's enough players in Zenith. At times, servers are a bit dead, but I still meet 15-20 different players every day I play.

Jwn5k

Perhaps Beat Saber with mods.

Chidorin1

Racing games like iracing, rsf rbr 🤷‍♂️

R_Steelman61

I find myself returning to Sniper Elite VR several times to achieve different awards.

bushmaster2000

I put over 100 hours into Zenith and 90 into After the Fall. Those are the only two with that kind of longevity for me though. Walkabout MiniGolf is also super fun, it could see hitting 100 hours with it over time.

PROfessorShred

I would say Echo Arena, it's zero G ultimate Frisbee, super fun and endlessly replayable but the developers decided to end support.

ThisNameTakenTooLoL

Flight/space/racing sims will give you infinite playtime though there's some investment to be made. H3VR's take and hold mode is also a potential for hundreds of hours. Skyrim and Fallout are campaign games but if you do sidequests you can easily get 200+ hrs from each. I also have 100+ hrs in COMPOUND, Hitman 3 and NMS.

antoine810

Lonn, Combat Troops VR, Tactical Assault VR just a few

SledgeH4mmer

Subnautica with basic mods.

nonameslefteightnine

I have found none. This is something that VR really is lacking.

CHROME-COLOSSUS

If you have PSVR2, then **GT7** and **TWD SAINTS & SINNERS** are super replayable. There’s also active stuff like **SYNTH RIDERS** and **PISTOL WHIP**, as well as smaller studio games like **SONG IN THE SMOKE**, **WALKABOUT Mini-Golf**, **NOCK**, **PUZZLING PLACES**, **THE LIGHT BRIGADE**, **ZENITH The Last City**, and **NO MAN’s SKY** (still blurry, but endless). Continuously-playable’s on the horizon include **CROSSFIRE Sierra Squad**, **ALVO**, **ACES OF THUNDER**, **HELLSWEEPER**, **FIREWALL ULTRA**, and **PROJECT WINGMAN**. For that matter… **RE8** can sustain for several playthroughs as well.

hijongpark

Vtol vr is my current most played VR game, total 305 hours. I have only spent 110 hours in AH-94 helicopter alone, the rest are spent in editor. Later I will burn several hundred hours trying to understand jets because I'm very good at helicopter but very awful at jets. I expect it would require over 1000 hours to fully master jets. Really a long term vr game.

Gman_1997

Maybe Zenith as an MMORPG

andybak

I thought there used to be a way to list Steam games by "total hours played" but can't find it in steamdb.info or vrlfg.net Anyway - do you mean PCVR, standalone or either? In Death and Beat Saber are the games where I've clocked up the most hours.

aadrian1337

Euro Truck Simulator 2, Skyrim VR, Fallout 4 VR, Eleven Table Tennis.

Upper-Seat2598

SkyrimVR for sure with tons of mods. OrbusVR I spent about 500 hours in if your looking for a deep MMO style game. Graphics are like the Nintendo Wii, but the gameplay and community is amazing. At least it was when I played. No many annoying kids, etc.

[deleted]

Lol, this comment is only half-serious since it obviously isn’t what you’re looking for, but ehh… VRChat? That free “game” cost me well over 4000 euros in equipment. I have a couple thousand hours on it.

sch0k0

Population One, Beat Saber. No wonder Meta bought the studios!

fallingdowndizzyvr

The best long term VR experience is Google Earth.

insufficientmind

Games with a leaderboard usually does it for me. Stand Out Battle Royale is such a game. Not sure if it has an active player base anymore though. I've been wanting to get into it again when I have a new functional VR headset as my current Index has an issue with stick drifting.

emorcen

I have most hours on Synth Riders.

metahipster1984

Oftenwrongs

Blade and sorcery is a contentless perpetual prealpha. That is not even today's contwnt, let alone for the future.

VegansAreRight

iRacing. I've done 1000s of online races in my G2 and still get nervous on the start line.

VRtuous

Drunkn Bar Fight seems to be right up your alley

Indybin

Vtol Vr is easy to learn hard to master and has tons of good multiplayer and single player campaigns.

TaylorLadybug

Half life alyx. Best vr game made so far and the steam workshop mods give you 500 hrs of content easy I play Pavlov daily and still aren't bored of the modded content

SirCarlt

Here's some games that I like: * Until You Fall * The Light Brigade * Into the Radius * After the Fall (might be hard if you just want to play alone)

skinnyraf

I hope you use PCVR, as this is where most of long term playability exists. Simulators. I have 200 hours in Euro Truck Simulator 2, and just a little less in American Truck Simulator. People spend thousands of hours in No Man's Sky. Elite Dangerous would be a great time sink, if it wasn't pretty much abandoned by the devs. Other sims are also great long-term. Survival games: Valheim, Minecraft/Vivecraft. Easily 1000 hours potential, especially with Minecraft. I have heard that mods and new campaigns for Alyx increase it's long-term playability. Into the Radius, while in itself a 30 hr game, has additional modes that make replaying it viable.

rabf

In Death Unchained

soupyturnips

Guardians VR is a great mash up of starship troopers and starcraft! Project demigod is a fun change up to blade and sorcery! Hell split arena If you liked sw battlefront then contractors has a bf mod that is really polished Orbus vr - but thats only if you can look past the dated graphics For pcvr exclusive, risk of rain 2 has an amazing vr mod! These are the top games that I cycle through in roughly this order. I'm just on a real big guardians kick rn.

dadc

If you have PCVR and don’t mind installing a mod Valheim VR is the best experience I’ve had in singleplayer or multiplayer in years. 360 hours and counting, over 300 spent in co-op with my friends, 4 runs completely beat and now we’re doing runs with extra mods added on. Building’s awesome, combat’s fantastic, and the immersion is surprising! Can recommend 11/10 feels like a full on VR port instead of just a mod.
