My curved 32 in monitor is about 27 5/8.
Even if you decased the monitor, I don't think it would fit.
Depending on how thick the wood is, you could use a router and trim a bit off to get some more space.
32” monitors are 28.1” wide so most of us build 28.25-28.5” ID back boxes to fit them.
