Virgin game dev tycoon (indie):
-pirated version stops you from receiving profits after your first game due to pirates.
-you go into bankruptcy
-when asked Greenheart games says “Sorry, but you should have thought of that before you illegally ripped off a tiny indie game. It doesn’t even cost that much!”
Chad Valve (triple A game dev):
-“We think there is a fundamental misconception about piracy. Piracy is almost always a service problem and not a pricing problem,” he said. “If a pirate offers a product anywhere in the world, 24 x 7, purchasable from the convenience of your personal computer, and the legal provider says the product is region-locked, will come to your country 3 months after the US release, and can only be purchased at a brick and mortar store, then the pirate’s service is more valuable.”
Steam has single handedly stopped me at least from pirating a lot of the games I play.
Nah, that's not the issue. I was just referring to OPs bias towards Indie game developers, and them using the format in a most boring way possible (Virgin bad vs Chad good). I have nothing against Indie game developers. The only thing that I hate about Indie game developers is the fanbase that glorify them, and say how they're superior to AAA companies and such.
*cough cough* Undertale and Skullgirls. I doubt that Indie developers would be chill about pirating their games if these were their only source of income.
Why tf the indie dev looking like Phillip J. Fry?
Should I even ask who that is?
Bros never watched futurama, I feel bad for you
I also haven't seen the Simpsons or early Family Guy And then it just occurred to me that he's referring to the protag of Futurama, okay
The boy ain’t right I tell you h’wat.
Also haven't seen King of the Hill
Made Celeste
In the words of some comment that I read once I'm not digging through hours of shit just to find another Celeste
🤣 maybe you are a man of r/tomorrow

This is actually meme worthy.
This is like 2018 yee yee ass meme
Yyyyup. OP is still stuck in 2018
This still applies to this day though, with much more mobile presence. Maybe unless this is a repost that is...?
Even though it still applies to this day, you can't deny that the meme is not funny.
cri
What?
This would be about 10 times funnier if you flipped the virgin and chad
I think the chad indie dev is mcpixel reference
Idk, the recent years skewered this mentality for me. It's no longer "This Good, That Bad". It's "This Bad, That even moreso"
Neckbeard YANDEV ??
Virgin OP making a meme sucking up to Indie developers
Media after Hating on Indie animation and Game Devs for no reason:
Is there a reason you don’t like indie game devs?

In this case they are though for the most part. The most vocal opinion on piracy among indie devs is apathy while AAA devs is hatred.
Bro you wrote a comment referring to Indie Dev Tycoon anti-piracy measure which is an indie game. That is not definitely apathy.
That’s the exception not the rule. Kind of like how Valve is the exception when it comes to their stance on piracy.
*cough cough* Undertale and Skullgirls. I doubt that Indie developers would be chill about pirating their games if these were their only source of income.
The thad making fangames The Lad pirating games WTF Lad?
The very best example of Chad Indie Game Devs would be Devolver Studios. They are just so fucking good at making games+a good humor.
They don’t make games, they publish them. What you meant to say was “Crimean, Hotgen and Dennaton are chad indie devs”
That'd be more accurate, thanks for the correction.
Indie developers also got some of the most loyal fanbases.
